Youhu is a support-oriented unit who has a plethora of utility effects and healing, with the potential to do some damage on the side. However, these effects are tied to her chance-based Antiques mechanic.
Her actual performance can fluctuate somewhat based on what Antiques she is able to obtain, but her healing is consistent regardless of these chance-based elements making her a good healer for her rarity.

Youhu is a well-rounded Glacio Support Unit capable of providing heals for your team while dealing a decent amount of damage. The highlight of her skills is her unique ability to perform Lucky Draw which has four randomized effects ranging from weakening an enemy’s Vibration Strength to breaking their stance.
Her Outro Skill makes your team's Coordinated Attack Sub-DPS the ideal switch-in as it buffs their Coordinated Attacks, while unlocking her first inherent skill will allow her to provide additional healing to your party.
We recommend focusing on weapons and echoes that increases her Energy Regen and ATK% to fully maximize her healing capabilities while also allowing her to deal a good amount of on-field damage.

Abyss Surges is the best Gautlet for Youhu as it grants a high Energy Regen rate for her Resonance Liberation and provides a significant amount of ATK which is beneficial for her healing capabilites. A good alternative to this would be the Celestial Spiral which Regenerates Energy and boosts her ATK after casting her Resonance Skill.

Youhu only works best on teams that has members that utilize coordinated attacks. Put Youhu anywhere else and she will not perform as great because her Outro Skill will be underutilized.

This team features Zhezhi and Sanhua as the main DPS duo of this team. Zhezhi can buff Sanhua's Glacio DMG and the damage of her Ice explosions with her Outro Skill while Sanhua can also buff Zhezhi's Basic Attack DMG. This symbiotic relationship is what makes this team special.
Youhu is there to buff Zhezhi's coordinated attacks, which will proc even if Sanhua is the on-field DPS in the rotation.

Youhu is an interesting character whose kit contains a little bit of everything, from damage, to crowd control, to support. However, these effects are chance-based, relying on her drawing random Antiques to access her utility.
She can obtain Antiques from various parts of her kit, and uses them to enhance her Basic Attack. She also gains Auspices from these Enhanced Basic Attacks, which will enable her to use her Forte Circuit's attack.
Youhu's core mechanic involves using her kit to gain random Antiques that will apply an extra effect to her next basic attack. She can only hold one Antique at a time, so be sure to Basic Attack after she gets one, to avoid overwriting it.
Using her Basic Attack when it is empowered by an Antique will also give Youhu an Auspice. On their own, Auspices do not do anything, but collecting four will allow her to use her Forte Circuit's attack with various effects.

When gaining an Antique, Youhu has a chance to draw from one of four possible Antiques, causing her next Basic Attack to deal Glacio Damage with an additional effect. She will also gain an Auspice corresponding to the Antique.

Landing Basic Attacks will fill Youhu's Forte Gauge. Holding down the Attack Button causes Youhu to enter the Fortune Rolling State, which will fill up the Forte Gauge for as long as the button is held.
Releasing the Attack Button without a full Forte Gauge makes Youhu do a Lucky Draw, obtaining a random Antique. If the gauge is full, she instead uses Heavy Attack: Frostfall, doing Glacio Damage and performing a Lucky Draw.
Youhu's Resonance Skill deals Glacio Damage, heals all allies, and causes her to perform a Lucky Draw, obtaining a random Antique.
Using Youhu's Resonance Liberation will cause her to throw her scroll to deal Glacio Damage in an area. After the attack, four button prompts will appear, each corresponding to a specific Antique.
Players can press one of the four buttons to choose an Antique to obtain. Note that this is the only part of Youhu's kit that allows players to select a specific Antique to obtain.
Once Youhu has four Auspices from using her Enhanced Basic Attacks, she can unleash Poetic Essence by holding down the Attack Button. Poetic Essence will have varying effects based on the Auspices that Youhu has obtained.
Note that regardless of the Auspices gained, Poetic Essence will always do Glacio Damage in an area while healing allies, and consumes all Auspices upon being used. Poetic Essence is also considered as skill damage.

As Youhu is not a main DPS, her goal on-field is to cycle through her kit as quickly as possible so that the damage dealers can switch back in. This combo allows Youhu to quickly gain 4 Auspices to activate Poetic Essence as soon as possible.
Her Resonance Liberation is used towards the end, when the player has already collected 3 Auspices from Basic Attacks. This gives the player some control to select the final Auspice to activate Poetic Essence's bonus effects.

Youhu's Intro Skill is ideally used as it grants an Antique as soon as she enters, but in scenarios wherein this is not achievable, Youhu can opt to cycle through Fortune Rolling one extra time to use Lucky Draw for one additional Antique.

Since Youhu's abilities shine when focusing on her build as a support, we recommend prioritizing her Forte Circuit and Resonance Skill upgrades alongside each other. Her Forte Circuit offers more potent healing capabilities compared to her Resonance Skill, making it the better option to upgrade first if you are low on materials.
Her other skills can be deprioritized unless you plan to build Youhu as a secondary damage dealer since her kit does allow for a decent damage output, especially if you enhance her Resonance Liberation.
It is highly recommended to immediately obtain Youhu's first Inherent Skill, as it unlocks extra healing after she casts her Resonance Skill and uses up an Antique.

| S1 | ★★★★☆ - Great Gaining this Node for Youhu can be useful when facing overwhelming enemy attacks as it gives her a chance at damage immunity. However, due to the low probability and the 15-second cooldown of her Resonance Skill, its effectiveness can be inconsistent. |
| S2 | ★★★☆☆ - Good This Sequence Node enhances Youhu's Forte Circuit but does not directly contribute to her healing prowess. Although, it can prove useful in situations where she serves as the team's Sub-DPS. |
| S3 | ★★★★★ - Amazing This is the best Sequence Node to obtain as it increases Youhu's ATK by a significant amount, which scales her healing capability in the process. |
