Strengths | |||
---|---|---|---|
・Can have a very high damage output for a 4-Star ・Her kit has built-in self-healing ・Can also be used to support Havoc characters ・Gets stronger with a high-level Resonance Chain |
|||
Weaknesses | |||
・Uses HP every time she uses her Resonance Skill ・Heavily reliant on player skill to maximize DPS |
Danjin is one of, if not, the strongest 4-Star DPS character right now, especially once you upgrade her Resonance Chain. She also synergizes incredibly well with Rover (Havoc), who's one of the best 5-Star DPS right now.
Her major flaw, however, is that she uses a portion of her HP every time she uses her Resonance Skill, making her reliant on player execution to balance damage and survival.

Danjin is best used as a Main DPS that is reliant on the player's skill to maximize her damage output. The combination of her Basic Attacks, Resonance Skill, and Resonance Liberation makes her a great damage dealer, while her Outro Skill can also support other Havoc characters on the team.
Main Echo | Explanation |
---|---|
Crownless
|
・An equally good Echo like the Dreamless but with lesser AoE. ・Deals huge damage and increases Resonance Skill DMG - perfect for Danjin. |
Dreamless
|
・One of the best Havoc echo that deals damage in a huge area. ・Use this when Danjin is a sub-DPS to any Havoc DPS like the Rover. |
Impermanence Heron
|
・A more support-centric set for a support Danjin running Moonlit Clouds. |
Echo Set | Rating |
---|---|
Sun-sinking Eclipse
(5-pc) |
★★★ - Best Danjin's kit heavily revolves around her weaving in Resonance Skill attacks in between her Basic Attacks. To compliment this, you'll want a 5 pc. Sun-sinking Eclipse set with a Crownless as your main Echo to increase her overall damage output. Recommended Main Echo: |
Moonlit Clouds
(5-pc) |
★★☆ - 2nd Best This set is best used when Danjin is your Sub-DPS and a different Havoc character is your Main DPS. This will allow you to constantly rotate characters, which in turn gives you a high uptime on Moonlit Clouds and Danjin's Outro Skill effects. Recommended Main Echo: |
Sun-sinking Eclipse
(2-pc) Lingering Tunes (2-pc) |
★☆☆ - 3rd Best Use this set if you don't have the perfect stats for a 5 pc. set. The combination of Havoc and Attack boosts should help you in farming for better Echoes. Recommended Main Echo: |
List of All Echoes and Sonata Effects
Weapon | Skill | |
---|---|---|
1 | Blazing Brilliance |
Crimson Phoenix ATK increased by 12%. The wielder gains 1 stack of Searing Feather upon dealing damage, which can be triggered once every 0.5s, and gains 5 stacks of the same effect upon casting Resonance Skill. Each stack of Searing Feather gives 4% additional Resonance Skill DMG Bonus for up to 14 stacks. After reaching the max stacks, all stacks will be removed in 12s. |
2 | Emerald of Genesis |
Stormy Resolution Increases Energy Regen by 12.8%. When Resonance Skill is cast, increases ATK by 6%, stacking up to 2 time(s). This effect lasts for 10s. |
3 | Lumingloss |
Pale Gale When Resonance Skill is cast, increases Basic Attack DMG and Heavy Attack DMG by 20%, stacking up to 1 time(s). This effect lasts for 10s and can be triggered 1 time(s) every 1s. |
4 | Sword#18 |
Daybreak When the Resonator's HP drops below 40%, increases Heavy Attack DMG by 18% and heals them by 5% upon dealing Heavy Attack DMG. This effect can be triggered 1 time(s) every 8s. |
5 | Commando of Conviction |
Unyielding When Intro Skill is cast, increases ATK by 15%, lasting for 15s. |
6 | Guardian Sword |
Unified Resonance Skill DMG Bonus is increased by 12% |
With how often Danjin will be using her Resonance Skill, she'll want a weapon that can help compliment that playstyle. Blazing Brilliance is by far the best choice since Danjin can effectively guarantee 100% uptime for the weapon effect, greatly increasing her overall damage in the process. if you do not have the weapon, she also appreciates weapons that heal her since she uses a portion of her HP everytime she uses her Resonance Skill.
Main DPS | Sub-DPS | Support |
---|---|---|
Danjin | Mortefi | Shorekeeper |
Danjin relies on her Heavy Attack as her primary source of damage and healing, so she'll want Mortefi as one of her teammates to increase its damage through his Outro Skill.
Shorekeeper can buff both of the above DPS units, while consistently healing Danjin with her Resonance Liberation's field. Shorekeeper's Inherent Skill also provides a big emergency heal should Danjin sustain a fatal hit.
Character | Explanation |
---|---|
Verina | Support Replacement Verina is an alternative premium Support that can also provide healing and damage to the two DPSes, with off-field Coordinated Attacks. |
Baizhi | Support Replacement Baizhi can be used as an alternative healer, as she can provide healing on-demand with her Resonance Skill and Liberation. |
1 | Start with Shorekeeper and cycle through her kit to summon Butterflies and charge both her Resonance Liberation and Concerto Energy. |
---|---|
2 | Use Shorekeeper's Resonance Liberation and swap to Mortefi when Concerto Energy is full, and his icon is glowing. |
3 | Use Mortefi's optimal combo to maximize his on-field damage, and quickly charge his Resonance Liberation. Aim to max out Concerto Energy again while doing so. |
4 | Once both his Resonance Liberation and Concerto Energy are maxed out, use his Ultimate and swap back to Danjin to grant her a Heavy Attack Damage Boost that will amplify Heavy Attack: Chaoscleave. |
5 | Continue to DPS with Danjin until Concerto Energy is maxed out again. Switch back to Shorekeeper to detonate her Resonance Liberation's field for a burst of damage. |
6 | Repeat the steps until the enemy is felled. |
Danjin Gameplay Guide |
---|
|
Danjin can be a strong and effective DPS only if you can dodge and parry any enemy's attacks. Danjin's Resonance Skill has a zero seconds cooldown, but, it consumes her HP.
Since you will be using Danjin's Resonance Skill multiple times, expect her health bar to always be below 50% of her Max HP!
Danjin will easily get downed by enemies if you cannot dodge or parry. By dodging successfully, you can further maximize her damage on-field since you can instantly use Resonance Skill: Crimson Erosion after a Dodge Counter.
Normally, Resonance Skill: Crimson Erosion can only be activated when you hit your 2nd Basic Attack or use Danjin's Intro Skill.
Using Resonance Skill: Crimson Erosion is basically an ability that allows you to smoothly cast her Resonance Skill twice.
After triggering her Intro Skill, follow it up with Resonance Skill: Crimson Erosion. Doing this inflicts Incinerating Will to enemies hit, allowing Danjin to deal more damage!
Danjin's time on-field revolves around her stacking Ruby Blossom so she can fully charge her Forte Circuit gauge and then use her charged Heavy Attack.
Note that the only Resonance Skill variation that can inflict Incinerating Will, the DMG amplification debuff, is Crimson Erosion!
The best way to stack Ruby Blossom is to do the combos needed to activate the Resonance Skills: Crimson Erosion and Sanguine Pulse. As shown in the video above, her combos can be string together to gain more stacks!
Danjin's charged Heavy Attacks: Chaoscleave and Scatterbloom deal a lot of damage when Danjin's Forte Circuit gauge is full.
To activate the ability, long press Danjin's Basic Attack and then follow it up with another one when a white circle on Danjin appears!
During an emergency situation where you need to immediately heal Danjin, consider using her charged Heavy Attack when her Forte Circuit is half full. While doing this deals less damage, it will proc the healing mechanic!
Danjin's Ultimate has a low Resonance Energy Cost compared to most other DPS Characters. The best time to use Danjin's Ultimate is when an enemy has the Incinerating Will debuff.
You may see players using Danjin to solo bosses. But if you are not used to her kit yet, there is no shame in bringing a healer like Verina to your team. Not only does she heal Danjin, but, she also provides a DMG buff!
Combo |
---|
Intro Skill → Res. Skill 1 → Res. Skill 2 |
After triggering her Intro Skill, follow it up with Resonance Skill: Crimson Erosion by tapping the Resonance Skill button twice. Executing this ability will apply Incinerating Will to an enemy.
Combo |
---|
BA1 → BA2 → Res. Skill 1 → Res. Skill 2 |
The two Basic Attack combo is pretty easy to do and it involves using Danjin's Basic Attack twice and then chaining it with two Resonance Skills, casting Resonance Skill: Crimson Erosion.
Combo |
---|
BA1 → BA2 → BA3 → Res. Skill 1 → Res. Skill 2 → Res. Skill 3 |
The three Basic Attack combo is also easy to execute but it takes longer to complete. This combo activates the Resonance Skill: Sanguine Pulse which allows you to land three Resonance Skills consecutively.
Unlike the Two Basic Attack combo, this combo provides double the Ruby Blossom stack.
Combo |
---|
Res. Skill 1 → BA1 → Res. Skill 1 → Res. Skill 2 Res. Skill 1 → BA1 → BA2 → Res. Skill 1 → Res. Skill 2 → Res. Skill 3 |
This combo starts with Danjin's Resonance Skill as it counts as a Basic Attack. You can then follow it up with one or two more Basic Attacks to cast Crimson Erosion or Sanguine Pulse!

Skill | Priority | Explanation |
---|---|---|
Normal Attack | ★★★☆☆ | Her Basic Attacks will mostly be used as combo starters for her Resonance Skill, but that does not mean you should ignore upgrading this skill altogether. Focus on levelling this up together with her Resonance Liberation. |
Resonance Skill | ★★★★★ | Danjin's Resonance Skill applies Incinerating Will and generates Ruby Blossoms to charge her Forte Circuit. This is an integral piece of her kit and will be using its different variations multiple times when Danjin is on-field. You should prioritize upgrading it together with her Forte Circuit. |
Forte Circuit | ★★★★★ | The bulk of Danjin's damage will come from her Heavy Attack: Chaoscleave and Scatterbloom, even to the point of out-damaging her Ultimate at Full Energy. Prioritize this skill over everything else to maximize her damage output. Do note that the healing mechanic of this ability does not increase with its level, but instead scales off of Danjin's HP. |
Resonance Liberation | ★★★☆☆ | Danjin's Ultimate has a relatively low Resonance Energy Cost compared to most other Main DPS Characters. Upgrade this after her Forte Circuit and Resonance Skill, but don't leave it too low level. |
Intro Skill | ★★☆☆☆ | While the increase to her Intro Skill's damage is useful, it's still more important to upgrade the rest of her abilities instead. |
Danjin's damage revolves around spamming her Resonance Skill and making use of her Forte Circuit effectively to deal damage. With this in mind, always try to upgrade those two first over any other skill.

Why We Recommend It | |
---|---|
S1 | ★★★★☆ - Great Danjin's first Sequence Node is already a great one to get since it will give her a 30% ATK Boost when maintained at full stacks. Conceptually, it's also amazing since it rewards skilled players who lean into her high-risk high-reward playstyle. |
S2 | ★★★★☆ - Great Her second Sequence Node is also great since it synergizes with her first upgrade by the increasing damage dealt to enemies afflicted with Incinerating Will. When the damage buffs start to compound on top of each other, Danjin quickly becomes a potent DPS carry for your team. |
S3 | ★★★★☆ - Great Much like the first two Sequence Nodes, this upgrade is a great addition to Danjin's kit since it will help boost her Ultimate's damage to be on par with her Forte Circuit's fully charged Heavy Attacks. Again, this is a generally great DPS increase that further exploits the first two upgrades' buffs. |
S4 | ★★★★★ - Amazing This Sequence Node continues the trend of buffs that stack on top of the other ones. This one is extra amazing since it increases her CRIT Rate, which can heavily increase her damage output when paired with the right Weapons and Echoes. |
S5 | ★★★★★ - Amazing Another Sequence Node, another buff to stack on top of her other buffs. This upgrade targets her Havoc DMG this time around, increasing it up to +30% while she's below 60% HP. Any skilled player can make great use of this buff to further abuse the number of stacking buffs she gets. |
S6 | ★★★★★ - Amazing The capstone of her Resonance Chain continues the trend of stacking buffs on top of buffs. Having a 20% ATK Boost that lasts for 20s on your entire team can never be bad, especially when Danjin has all of her other buffs active. Unless the enemy's resistant to Havoc DMG, a skilled S6 Danjin can make quick work out of any enemy out there. |
S1 | Crimson Heart of Justice When Danjin attacks a target with Resonance Skill's Incinerating Will, her Attack is increased by 5% for 6s, stacking up to 6 times. Danjin loses 1 stack of this effect each time she takes damage. |
---|---|
S2 | Dusted Mirror When Danjin attacks a target with Resonance Skill's Incinerating Will, her damage dealt is increased by 20%. |
S3 | Fleeting Blossom Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus is increased by 30%. |
S4 | Solitary Carnation When Danjin has more than 60 "Ruby Blossom", her CRIT Rate is increased by 15%. This effect lasts until the end of Heavy Attack: Scatterblossom even after all "Ruby Blossom" is consumed when casting Heavy Attack: Chaoscleave. |
S5 | Reigning Blade Danjin's Havoc DMG Bonus is increased by 15%, and further increased by another 15% when her HP is lower than 60%. |
S6 | Bloodied Jade Heavy Attack Chaoscleave increases the ATK of all team members by 20% for 20s. |
