Reach Data Bank Level 8

Wuthering Waves - Raise SOL3 Phase for Data Bank Level 8

The Data Merge feature becomes available in the Data Bank as soon as it reaches Level 8. You'll also need to reach SOL3 Phase 3 as that is a requirement for unlocking this level in the Data Bank.

How Data Merge Works

Create a New Echo from Other Echoes

Wuthering Waves - Data Merge New Echo

Data Merge lets you combine five Echoes into another random Echo, giving you a way to discard Echoes you don't need while giving you a chance to roll for different stats and attributes. Note that you can't merge upgraded or locked Echoes.

Get Extra Echoes Using High Rarity Echoes

If you use Echoes with high Rarity and Cost for merging, there's a greater chance you'll get extra Echoes.

Rarity Determined by Data Bank Level

Wuthering Waves - Data Merge Limitations

Data Merge is limited by your Data Bank. This means the highest Rarity is determined by your Data Bank Level and not the Rarity of the Echoes used to merge.

Can Only Roll Unlocked Echoes

The Data Merge feature cannot roll Echoes that you haven't absorbed yet. This means you shouldn't expect to get new Echoes to up fill your Data Bank this way.
