Complete Prerequisite Quests

Wuthering Waves - How to Unlock Under the Moonlit Banyan
In order to unlock Under the Moonlit Banyan, you must first complete the Exploration Quest When the Forest is No Longer Dim, the Side Quest When Moonlight Shines in the Forest that unlocks after, and finish Lingyang's Companion Quest Wild Heart's Return.

The Side Quest will appear in your quest log 24 real world hours from the time after completing either When Moonlight Shines in the Forest or Wild Heart's Return.

Talk to Bei Shi

Wuthering Waves - Under the Moonlit Banyan - Talk to Bei Shi
Head over to the Violet Banyan in the Dim Forest and speak with Bei Shi under the tree. After conversing with her, investigate around the area until you spot a familiar figure on one of the Banyan's roots.

Talk to Lingyang

Wuthering Waves - Under the Moonlit Banyan - Talk to Lingyang
Lingyang is located on one of the Violet Banyan's roots, and a cutscene will trigger as you approach him. After engaging in a conversation with him about tracks left behind by the jingle beast, the quest will conclude.
