Ascending Resonators also raises their level limit and is a crucial part in character development in Wuthering Waves. Learn how to Ascend your characters, things to remember, and the benefits of Ascending in this guide!
List of Contents
When a Resonator hits their current level cap, players can choose to Ascend them instead of continuing to level them up. This allows them to break the current level limit and continue their progress to the next limit.
Certain Ascensions require certain SOL3 Phase Levels, and that also means they require certain Union Levels to unlock it. Make sure to keep increasing both to be able to maximize your Resonators as soon as possible!
You can raise your SOL3 Phase Level by completing the SOL3 Phase Ascension tutorial quests once you reach Levels 20, 40, 60 on your Union Level.
SOL3 Phase Ascension: Phase I Quest Guide
The materials needed to Ascend differ between Resonators. Before Ascending, there is a provided preview of the next Ascension Rank, as well as the various items required to be able to breakthrough to their next level cap.
The Rover has their own exclusive Breakthrough Material that cannot be found or bought anywhere in Solaris-3. There are only two ways to obtain the Mysterious Code: through various Main Story Quests as a reward, or by collecting enough Sonance Caskets to give to the Relic Merchant in Jinzhou City.
Raising SOL3 Phase Levels will allow the Common and Elite-class Tacet Discords in the overworld to get stronger, which will then lead to increased drop rates of rarer materials and drops from enemies.
Most materials from them have four tiers of materials based on rarity. If you have enough materials of the lower rarity, you can Synthesize them into the higher-rarity ones!
How to Raise Your SOL3 Phase Level
One of the more immediate affects that comes with Ascending is the immediate boost in stats for the Resonator's base HP, ATK and DEF values.
Ascension Levels are part of the requirement to be able to unlock parts of their respective Fortes. The requirement varies for each Forte chain, so make sure to keep leveling and ascending your Resonators to get closer to their full potential!
Some Quests and challenges show a recommended Level for players to have their Resonators before tackling them. Players can still do them and ignore the recommended Level suggestion, but it will be an added challenge due to a difference in stats.
