Wuthering Waves - List of Memory Doors and Illusia Encounters Banner
There are multiple different Memory Doors and Illusia Encounters in Wuthering Waves' Depths of Illusive Realms. Check out a list of all the different Memory Door and Illusia choices you can encounter, as well as their rewards.

List of Memory Doors

Memory Door Type and Rewards

Memory Rewards
Fierce Struggle and Combat 1-2 Metaphors
Deathmatch 1-2 Metaphors
Training 1 Character Upgrade
Dreaming 2 Metaphors
Unknown Random
Rest Heal
Metaphors
Calamity 1 Metaphor
1 Character Upgrade
Endgame None

This does not account for the breakable rocks that could be hiding Strange Cats who give extra Metaphors.

Memory of a Fierce Struggle and Combat

Wuthering Waves - Depths of Illusive Realm - Memory of Fierce Struggle and Combat
When you enter a Memory of Fierce Struggle or Memory of Combat door, you'll be faced with a battle against 1 to 2 waves of enemies once you step into the marked area. After every battle, you'll be rewarded with 1 Metaphor.

Memory of a Deathmatch

Wuthering Waves - Depths of Illusive Realm - Memory of Deathmatch
Memory of a Deathmatch is an encounter where you'll have to initiate the battle manually. This can either be a Challenge fight similar to the Tower of Adversity or a Forgery Challenge, or it could be a Defense Shield where you'll need to defend the device from waves of enemies.

Depending on the map and battle type, you can be rewarded with either 1 or 2 Metaphors. In the 1.1 update Dreams Ablaze in Darkness, you may also be rewarded a Token for successfully completing a Challenge-type fight.

Memory of Training

Wuthering Waves - Depths of Illusive Realm - Memory of Training
Much like the last two encounters, Memory of Training will have you fight some enemies before receiving your reward. However, the main difference is that you'll get a Character Upgrade this time instead of a Metaphor.

Memory of Dreaming

Wuthering Waves - Depths of Illusive Realm - Memory of Dreaming Find the Cat in Hiding DOIR
In the 1.1 update Dreams Ablaze in Darkness, the Memory of Dreaming room will ask you to find where the white cat is hiding between two destructible rocks presented.

Each time you successfully find the white cat, you will be granted 1 Metaphor; This process will repeat three times, netting you around 1 to 3 Metaphors once the challenge is completed.

Memory of Unknown

Wuthering Waves - Depths of Illusive Realm - Memory of Unknown
Memory of Unknown is the most unique and random encounter you can get since each Illusia has different dialogue options with different rewards. Be careful when choosing this door since you won't be sure which Illusia you'll get.

Memory of Rest

Wuthering Waves - Depths of Illusive Realm - Memory of Rest
You'll be safe when going through a Memory of Rest door since you won't have to fight any enemies. Instead, you'll have a chance to heal up, get a Metaphor from a Cat, and spend your Dream Fragments to purchase Metaphors from the Transaction person.

Do note that at higher difficulty levels and later rounds, the Strange Cat may not appear and you'll only be left with the ability to purchase Metaphors.

Memory of Calamity and Endgame

This is the hardest type of encounter you'll face since they are Boss fights that are meant to be skill checks for your builds. The difference between Calamity and Endgame is that Memory of Calamity is not the end and you will be rewarded with a Metaphor and Character Upgrade, while Memory of Endgame is the final boss fight at the end of your run.
