How to Unlock Alone in the Abyss

Reach Union Level 15

Wuthering Waves - How to Unlock Alone in the Abyss
Alone in the Abyss automatically unlocks after reaching Union Level 15 and will be indicated on the map West of Jinzhou City near Tower of Adversity. This will serve as the introductory quest to unlocking the Tower of Adversity.

Talk to Sanhua

Wuthering Waves - Alone in the Abyss - Talk to Sanhua
Head over to the quest location indicated on the map and speak with Sanhua by the docks. Afterwards, meet her in front of the Tower of Adversity and enter the tower.

Complete the Test Once

Select Your Team

Arrange your team according to your discretion. The lightning symbol with a numerical value at the bottom of your Resonators' profile indicates their Vigor which will deplete the farther you go through the Tower of Adversity floors.

Clear Tower Floors

Wuthering Waves - Alone in the Abyss - Clear Tower Floors
To complete a tower floor, you must clear all enemies within an objective time limit indicated at the left side of your screen. The faster you clear the floor, the higher rewards you get.

After completing the first floor, you may choose to continue further or leave the tower.

Return to Sanhua

Wuthering Waves - Alone in the Abyss - Return to Sanhua
Talk with Sanhua once more after exiting the tower and complete the quest. After this, the Tower of Adversity will now be permanently unlocked and accessible to you.
