How to Unlock Offshoot Core Puzzles

Unlock When the Forest is No Longer Dim Quest

Talk to The Researcher

To trigger Offshoot Core puzzles, players must unlock an Exploration Quest called When the Forest is No Longer Dim that lets you wander around the Dim Forest to get rid of Toxic Spores!

To unlock the Exploration Quest, make sure to be on Union Level 20 and complete the Tutorial Quest SOL3 Ascension: Phase 1.

How to Complete Offshoot Core Puzzles

Shoot the Cores to Position Them

Shoot the Core to Position It

It is recommended to use a ranged Resonator to aim directly at the cores and shoot to position them properly. Successfully positioning all of the cores surrounding a Toxic Spore will remove it.

What are Toxic Spores?

What are Toxic Spores

Toxic Spores only exist at the Dim Forest, and all Toxic Spores need to be eliminated in order to clear the Dim Forest and get rid of the fog that prevents Resonators from exploring the Dim Forest entirely.
