Guardian Spirit is a side quest in Mario & Luigi: Brothership that can be started on Bulbfish Island after completing Heatfreeze Island. Read on for a full walkthrough of Guardian Spirit, including its location, unlock requirements, and rewards.

After you complete Heatfreeze Island, you will be able to find this side quest on Bulbfish Island. Talk to the Blue Concordian at the Village in order to start Guardian Spirit.
If this side quest doesn’t appear for you after you return to Shipshape Island from Heatfreeze Island, you may need to progress the story a little bit.
On Bulbfish Island, find Leyden north of the Island Plaza, near the Chief’s House. Talk to him to start the quest!
Bulbfish Island Location Guide
Head to the Anglerfish Restaurant on the right side of the island and speak with the Security Guard at the entrance. He’ll require you to pass his quiz in order to allow everyone entry in the restaurant.
Answer all three questions correctly to complete the quest.
To find the quiz answers, you could speak with Leyden and search both his office and the Chief’s House. But to save you some time, we've already listed the correct answers below:
