Use Recovery Items in battle to restore health in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Read on to see how to heal outside battles and other ways to restore health in this guide.

Recovery Blocks are blocks with a heart icon that fully restores your health and BP when you jump and hit it.
Another option to fully heal and restore your health and BP is to sleep at an inn. Some islands in Concordia offer an inn and these do not cost coins to use. One will also eventually be freely available on Shipshape Island.
Inns can usually be identified by buildings or NPCs next to a sign with the heart symbol on it.
While on the field, you can open the main menu and select Items. From there, select a recovery item to use in order to restore your health.

You can use recovery items such as Mushrooms or Nuts to restore health in combat.

You can also use Battle Plugs that allow you to recover health such as the Auto Mushroom. This allows you to use a Mushroom automatically when your HP becomes low.

You can boost your healing further in battle when you use the Auto Mushroom and Deluxe Auto Battle Plug combo. This allows you to automatically use the most efficient healing item from your inventory when your health becomes low.
