After you complete Florall Island, you will be able to find this side quest on Twistee Island. Talk to Spiralia in her Shop in order to start Spiralia's New Creation.

If this side quest doesn’t appear for you after you return to Shipshape Island from Florall Island, you may need to progress the story a little bit.

Talk to Spiralia in Raynforst Island

Upon arriving at Raynforst Island, use the nearby Green Pipe to fast-travel to Spiralia's Shop. Talk to Spiralia to start the quest!

Spiralia will then lead you to her color puzzle, where the brothers must step on square platforms in the correct numerical order, matching their colors—Red for Mario and Green for Luigi.

Race Luigi to the Numbered Platforms

Start by moving to the Green 1 platform and pressing L for Luigi to step on it. Next, move Mario to Red 2 to continue the sequence. Mind the pink bugs that can block your path!

The next phase will be some sort of race. As soon as Luigi steps on Green 3, quickly have Mario rush to Red 4 and 5. Pause and wait for Luigi to reach Green 6, then move Mario to Red 7. Luigi will complete the puzzle by stepping on Green 8, marking the end of the quest.
