The strategy for Glohm Gorumbla is the same as the regular Gorumbla. Other than stat boosts, the only difference they have is that Glohm Gorumbla can occasionally launch a Counter where he squishes his target and apply the Dizzy status.

Bring Ampberries

Prepare some Ampberries (Refreshing Herbs only work half the time) with you to cleanse the Bros from Glohm in case they get afflicted. Leaving a Bro with the Glohm status drastically reduces your damage output, as you won't be able to use dual attacks while it persists.

You can also plug in the Auto-Ampberry Battle Plug so you don't have to use up a turn to remove Glohm or Glohm Guard so you don't have to worry about it at all!

Go Full Offensive After Using Luigi Logic

Successfully pulling off Luigi's Logic stuns Glohm Gorumbla and makes all your attacks deal critical hits for a few turns. But before you spam your best Bros. Attacks like a madman, it would be better to take the time to set all your offensive Battle Plugs!

You can remove Anti-Glohm Specialist for now as you'll get guaranteed criticals anyway. We do recommend plugging in Bros. Boost for Bros. Attack spam or if you prefer stomping and smashing, Attack Boost, Fiery Attack / Icy Attack, and Surprise Iron Ball.
