Defeat the Boss at Rumbla Island to Unlock

Go Back to Rumbla Island After Raynforst Island and Twistee Island

Side quests only start appearing in Concordia once you defeat the boss at Rumbla Island after completing both Raynforst Island and Twistee Island.

The Hammer Fan can be started on Rumbla Island immediately once side quests become available.

Talk to the Kid North of the Plaza

MLB Hammer Fan

Head north from the Rumbla Island Plaza, just by the bridge, and talk to the Green Concordian Kid.

Rumbla Island Location Guide

Use the Hammer in Front of the Kid

MLB Mario Luigi Kid Hammer

After talking to the Kid, speak to him again. He'll ask you to break some crates using your hammer right in front of him. Press X for Mario and Y for Luigi.

Continue doing as he asks until the brothers get tired. Once done, the quest will be marked as cleared.

Heart Bean

Reward Description
Heart BeanHeart Bean x1 Adds 1 to max HP.

After completing The Hammer Fan, the Kid will reward you with a Heart Bean.
