Unlocked After Completing Great Lighthouse Island (Lushgreen Sea)

After you complete Great Lighthouse Island (Lushgreen Sea), you will be able to find this side quest on Rumbla Island. Talk to the Blue Concordian at the Plaza in order to start Investigate the Abductions!.

If this side quest doesn’t appear for you after you return to Shipshape Island from Great Lighthouse Island (Lushgreen Sea), you may need to progress the story a little bit.

This side quest involves defeating enemies to complete it. It is recommended to have Mario and Luigi to be at least level 16 to easily complete this quest.

Must Be Completed Before Going to the Color-full Sea Great Lighthouse

Although this quest isn’t marked as a limited-time special quest, you only have until the end of the Color-full Sea islands to complete Investigate the Abductions!

If you do not complete this quest before going to the Color-full Sea Great Lighthouse after Allsand Island, this quest will no longer be available.

Investigate the Abductions! Quest Objectives
Talk to the Teal Concordian in the Plaza Use UFO Spin to Reach the Snaptors Battle the Snaptors

Talk to the Teal Concordian in the Plaza

Climb up the high ground in the center of the Rumbla Island Plaza and talk to the Teal Concordian overlooking the area. Speaking with him will trigger a cutscene.

Use UFO Spin to Reach the Snaptors

Head across the bridge on the left side of the plaza and follow the path until you reach a gap. Use the Right Stick to switch to UFO Spin, then press X to spin across the gap and reach the Snaptors and their captives.

Battle the Snaptors

As soon as you reach the Snaptors, a battle will begin. When a Snaptor swoops down and drops either Mario or Luigi, causing them to roll toward the other, time your jump carefully to dodge. An accidental stomp will inflict extra damage on them.

If Mario is equipped with the right Gear, you can one-shot Snaptors with a Red Shell Bros. Attack. Defeating the Snaptors will free the captured Concordians and clear the quest.

Reward	Description
