Place Starlight Coalescences to Complete a Constellation

You need to place 8 Starlight Coalescences on a device found on top of the tower on Minacious Isle. Placing a Starlight Coalescence lights up a part of the constellation on the nearby wall. There are three Luxurious Chests awarded to the player for gathering 8 Starlight Coalescences.

Collect three to make a Bridge

You can find a Luxurious Chest at the floating top of the tower. You need to submit three Starlight Coalescences and summon an Astral Bridge to get there.

Unlock Luxurious Chests with Starlight Coalescence

You can get two more Luxurious Chests when you've submitted a total of 8 Starlight Coalescences.

Starlight Coalescence Locations

Starlight Coalescence Locations in Minascious Isle 1

Minacious Isle 1 is the island's default formation after completing Mona's Event Quest. This formation has the ruins of a tower that the other Minacious Isle formation does not have.

Starlight Coalescence Locations in Minacious Isle 2

Minacious Isle 2 is the island's second formation. This formation has the upside-down ruins and no huge tower in sight.

How to Access Minacious Isle 2

To go to the second version of Minacious Isle, you will need to access the Pool of Water Teleporter found on the island. You can go back and forth between the two at several Pool of Water locations.

One Trapped In a Constellation Mural

One Starlight Coalescence is in a ruin wall at the ground level of Minacious Isle. Look for a constellation on the wall with a disconnected star, approach it, and click Touch. This will free the Starlight Coalescence.

Follow the Starlight Coalescence until it reaches a pressure plate, and capture once it stops moving!

One Under a Broken Bridge

One Starlight Coalescence is floating underneath a Broken Bridge in the middle of the Minacious Isle. Jump off the bridge and land on the invisible floor.

The Broken Bridge at the Tower

The broken bridge can be found near the Star Guides at the tower on the Minacious Isle. The Starlight Coalescence is right underneath.

One Down the Cliff

One Starlight Coalescence is floating near the bottom of the cliff. This is near the tower of the Minacious Isle, south of the island.

You can identify which part of the cliff you'll need to jump from by finding the 'Place in Water' Teleporter on the ground.

One Floating in the Sky

One Starlight Coalescence can be found floating in the air, near the right side of the island. It's hard to see if you're on the ground, but you'll be able to see it if you climb the nearby rock formation.

Jump and Glide from the Tower

You can glide to the Starlight Coalescence by jumping from the tower at the middle of the Minacious Isle. There will be an invisible floor near the Starlight Coalescence, so you don't have to worry about stamina.

Two From a Time Trial

These Starlight Coalescences are a bit harder to get because they're deep in the ruins. You also need to collect and lead both of them to vases

Step-by-Step Walkthrough for the two Starlight Coalensces

1. Enter the ruins from the south of Minacious Isle.
   
2. Use the 2 Switches in the room. One is above a glowing rock lamp by the entrance and the other one is on the other side of the room, by the puzzle.
   
3. Go through the unlocked gate in the ceiling.
   
4. Climb up higher onto a ledge.
   
5. Get one Starlight Coalescence on that ledge and follow it to a vase in another room.
   
6. Go down the stairs for another Starlight Coalescence, then follow that one too.
   
7. Capture both once the puzzle is complete. Completing that Starlight Coalescent puzzle also rewards you with a chest!

One After Solving the Astral Puzzle

This one can be found underneath the Starlight Coalescences feeding mechanism, near the top of the Tower. After solving the puzzle, a chest will appear with the Starlight Coalescences inside.

Astral Puzzle Solution

To solve this Astral Puzzle, you will need to imitate the constellation near the wall of the mechanism that you feed Starlight Coalescences to.

One at the Very Top of the Tower

This Starlight Coalescence can be found above the mechanism that you feed Starlight Coalescences to at the middle of the island. You will need to use an Astral Bridge to climb up. The Bridge will only appear after feeding 3 Starlight Coalescences to the mechanism.

Requires Three Starlight Coalescences for the Bridge

To get to this Starlight Coalescence, you will need to submit three Starlight Coalescences to the mechanism for the bridge to appear. A cutscene will trigger that will spawn the Astral Bridge after submitting three.

One on Top of an Arch

Another Starlight Coalescence can be found near a floating broken Arch by the Starlight Coalescence device and constellation. You will need to use an Astral Bridge to glide down[/red] on top of the Arch. Three Starlight Coalescence need to be submitted for the bridge to spawn.

Three Floating in the Air

There are three Starlight Coalescences next to a Luxurious chest that can be found floating in the air. You will need to Trigger 4 Elemental Totems in the order of Pyro-Anemo-Cryo-Hydro to spawn a portal to the chest. The totems are all close to one another in the cave.

Pyro Totem Location

The Pyro Totem can be found on top of a slanted arch, inside the cave at the bottom of the tower.

Anemo Totem Location

The Anemo Totem can be found by jumping in the giant hole at the middle of the cave. It's next to a pool of water and stairs.

Cryo Totem Location

The Cryo Totem can be found one level down the constellation wall inside the cave.

Hydro Totem Location

The Hydro Totem can be found on top of an Arch, near the entrance of the cave. If done correctly, the portal to the Luxurious chest will be right infront of you.

One Inside a Tunnel

This Starlight Coalescence can be found inside a tunnel at the West side of the island. It will be surrounded by enemies.

One Inside a Hole on the Wall

One Starlight Coalescence can be found on a camp inside a hole one the wall. There will be hilichurl enemies in the camp, so watch out.

Hole Location

The hole on the wall can be found Northwest of the island, near the beach. The hole entrance will have roots from the bottom and vines on top of it.

One at a Ledge on a Mountain

This Starlight Coalescence can be found on the second version of Menacious Isle. It can be found on the east mountain of the island, at a ledge near the top. You can climb the mountain easier by activating the wind currents.

How to Activate the Wind Currents

The wind currents can only be activated by enabling the Anemo Totem found on the first version of Menacious Isle. It can be found within the cave underneath the tower.

One Hidden in a Rock Pile

This Starlight Coalescence can be found in a rock pile on the second version of Minacious Isle. You can find the rock pile on the east side of the island, near the beach. After breaking it, you will need to follow it up the mountain.

One on A Wall Underneath the Mountain

This Starlight Coalescence can be found on the 2nd version of Minacious Isle. It will be on the east side of the island, on a wall underneath the mountain. After interacting with the star on the wall, you will simply need to follow it.

One on the Ledge of Ruins

This Starlight Coalescence can be found on the 2nd version of Minacious Isle. It can be found on the west side of the island, hanging on a ledge underneath the mountain. You will need to activate the Anemo Totem on the nearby pond to glide to the location.

What to Do With Extra Starlight Coalescences

Currently Has No Other Use

As you explore the Menacious Isle, you will encounter more than the 8 Starlight Coalescences needed for the Astral Puzzle on top of the tower.
