Burgeon is the reaction that happens when Dendro Cores created from Bloom are hit with Pyro. These cores then explodes and deals wide AoE Dendro damage.

The damage of the Burgeon reaction depends on the Elemental Mastery of the Pyro character who triggered it. The damage could also be enchanced through certain effects that increase Burgeon damage.

How to Trigger Burgeon

Trigger Bloom First

Burgeon is the immediate reaction when Pyro hits a Dendro Core from a Bloom Reaction, and not an Enemy with Dendro, as this would cause the Burning Reaction than a Burgeon.

Effect Creates a Dendro Core
Order Any

You can tell if a Bloom reaction occured through the presence of Dendro Cores near the enemy, this would look like green seeds that would explode after a set amount of time.

Hit the Dendro Cores with Pyro

Before the Dendro Core explodes, immediately apply Pyro! As Burgeon relies on that few seconds before Dendro Cores detonate naturally, also make sure that the Dendro Cores are not touched by any other elements.

The explosion dealt by Burgeon scales on the triggering Pyro Character's Elemental Mastery, so be sure to have them at the ready.
