The Golden Apple Vacation Returns! is a limited-time Event Quest released during the Summertime Odyssey event of Genshin Impact Version 2.8. Find out how to start the Summertime Odyssey event, how to use Elemental Sight, along with a quest walkthrough and rewards in this guide!
The Golden Apple Vacation Returns! is part of the Summertime Odyssey event in Genshin Impact. To participate in the event and start the quest, you must be at least Adventure Rank 32, and complete Archon Quest Chapter 2: Prologue, as well as Mona's Story Quest!

The Golden Apple Vacation Returns! was released on July 15, 2022 during the Version 2.8 update!

| Step by Step Instructions | |

| 1 |  Head to the Adventurers' Guild in Mondstadt and talk to Katheryne, who will tell you about Fischl's request. |
| 2 |  Go to the plaza in front of the Mondstadt Cathedral and talk to Fischl and Mona. |
| 3 |  Enter the Angel's Share Tavern, where you will immediately trigger a cutscene with Venti, Kazuha, and Xinyan! |
| 4 |  Head upstairs to the second floor and talk to Venti. |
| 5 |  Adjust the time to the next day at 08:00 - 10:00. |
| 6 |  Go to Mondstadt's Main City Gate where you will find Mona and Fischl waiting. |
| 7 |  Go to the marked location outside of Mondstadt City where a Dodoco like structure can be found. You will use this to get to the Golden Apple Archipelago! |
| 8 |  Use the 'Navigate' button on the quest menu to find out the next location to go to next marked location. You can summon a Waverider nearby using the Waverider Waypoint on the island you're standing on to go to the area, where you will find a strange machine. |
| 9 |  Use your Elemental Sight and follow the blue trail to an area where you will come across a Cryogunner Legionnaire. |
| 10 |  Defeat the Cryogunner Legionnaire to trigger another cutscene and talk to him. |
| 11 |  Head back to base camp, the island where you first landed. |
| 12 |  Go on top of the small hill to trigger another cutscene and complete the quest. |
To use the Elemental Sight, simply press the Elemental Sight Button on the screen, or use a shortcut on the PC oor Playstation.
