The Final Treasure World Quest Guide and How to Unlock

See how to unlock Genshin Impact's The Final Treasure world quest and how to complete it in Golden Apple Archipelago! Find out how to sail to where the treasure lies, how to sail through the thunderstorm, and how to collect the treasure in this guide.

How to Unlock The Final Treasure

1. Complete the "Treasure Voyage" quest first.
2. Wait for the quest to unlock on August 16, 2022.
3. Go to Minacious Isle to start the quest.

The Final Treasure Quest Guide

1. Talk to Miitoboru to start the quest

Go to Miitoboru's location in Minacious Isle. It doesn't matter which Minacious Isle style you are in. You can continue the quest in both island styles!

2. Sail to where the treasure lies

Follow the guiding lights

Board Miitoboru, and follow the path of the guiding lantern lights to sail to the treasure's location. Try not to steer off the path as going astray through the thick fog will reset your progress!

Approach the final lantern

The final destination where the treasure lies is the floating lantern highlighted by a yellow beam. The lanterns before that will light up as you go near the previous lanterns, leading you to this location!

3. Sail through the thunderstorm

Break through the barricades

Head north to the final island and sail through the barricades while avoiding the thunderstorm. The lightning will highlight where it lands, so stay vigilant to avoid damaging your boat!

Hit the exploding barrels

Use your Waverider's bomb and normal attack abilities to destroy the barricades. Hitting the bomb barrels is an easy way to break it immediately!

Speed up the Waverider

You can avoid some of the obstacles by speeding through the path. These blue circular portals will speed your Waverider once you enter it.

Final Waverider destination

The path will lead you to the northmost island of the Archipelago. Once there, the fog and clouds will lift. Talk to Kosekimaru in a rock to start the final section of this quest.

4. Go collect the treasure

Climb the mountain to the shipwreck

Climb the high mountain in the north island of the Archipelago to get to the shipwreck. You can climb the left side of the mountain as there are fewer overhangs in that location.

Pick up the floating boat

Collect the final treasure, the Storm Braver ship furniture, at the top of the mountain. This miniature ship will appear after a cutscene once you approach the shipwreck!

Talk to Kosekimaru to finish the quest!

Finally, drop down the mountain and talk to Kosekimaru in the location below to complete the quest!
