1 Resin Regenerates Every 8 Minutes

The Resin Recharge Rate is 1 Resin per 8 minutes, which yields a total of 7 resins an hour. This is a pretty lengthy time but not all activities consume Original Resin, and it also recovers while the game is closed. Make sure to always spend Original Resin in time to maximize its use!

In Version 4.7 Developers Discussion, the resin cap is increased from 160 to 200, which means the resin recharge rate now takes 26 hours for the entire resin counter to fully replenish!

Can Be Recharged Using Primogems

Original Resin can also be replenished via Primogems. This can be done 6 times each day and the price increases per use (also refreshes the next day). A single purchase will restore 60 Original Resin.

Only Use as Last Resort

We do not recommend using Primogems to regenerate Original Resin in normal circumstances.

Only use Primogems for Resin if you have plenty to spare and in dire need of the Resin! Otherwise, Primogems are better spent on Wish Banners.

Fragile Resin is an item used to restore Original Resin without spending Primogems. Each Fragile Resin is worth 60 Original Resin. You can get these from Events, the Battle Pass, and Adventure Rank level ups!

You can also use Transient Resin to restore Original Resin! Transient Resin is available in the Realm Depot for 1200 Realm Currency, and it refreshes every week. Each Transient Resin is worth 60 Original Resin, but will expire 7 days counting from the Monday after you buy it.

Farm Character Level-Up Materials

Original Resin is best used to farm Leyline Outcrops for Hero's Wit and other Character EXP Material, or Challenge Domains for Talent Ascension Materials, Artifacts, and Weapon Ascension Materials.

Convert into Condensed Resin

You can store up to 200 Original Resin for later use by converting it into Condensed Resin, at a maximum of 5. Once converted, you will be able to save resin for Domains and Ley Lines and use them on another day!

Domains requires Original Resin to redeem rewards. Domains gives ascension materials and the resin needed for domains are cheaper than World Bosses.

On the later stages of the game, Domains will also be your go to area in farming rare Artifacts for your team. Clear those domains to make the best team!

Use on Elite Bosses

Elite Bosses need 40 Original Resin to claim various rewards including Character Development Items, and artifacts. Unlike Domains and Ley Line Outcrops, you cannot use Condensed Resin.

Original Resin can also be used from defeating Trounce Domain enemies like Stormterror Dvalin. Claiming rewards from Trounce Domains will give you various Character Development Items including gemstones, and Talent boss materials.

Forge Mystic Enhancement Ore

You can also use 10 Resin to craft Mystic Enhancement Ores by talking to the Blacksmith and forging with Magical Crystal Chunks. You can choose to do this if you do not want to overcap but have no time to do domains or bosses. This will also give Companionship EXP to whichever character you use for Forging!

What is Original Resin?

Resource to Claim Character Enhancement Items

Original Resin is a resource used in doing Domains, Ley Lines, World Bosses, and other activities that use Original Resin. Upon completion, Original Resin will be consumed to avail the rewards.

Raise Friendship Level

Every in-game activity that uses Original Resin also rewards your party with Companion EXP. Be sure to check your party members' Friendship Level before using Original Resin!

Unlocks at AR 8

AR (Adventure Rank) 8 is needed to start using Original Resin. Quickly grind those AR to immediately be able to redeem nice rewards from activities that use Original Resin!

How to Raise Your Adventure Rank

Has No Effect On Story

Story can be progressed without using Original Resin. It is not a roadblock to progressing your game as you only need to up your Adventure Rank to progress quests. Regardless, Bosses in the Overworld will be harder as time goes by, so it is still recommended to build your Characters.
