How to Get to the Iniquitous Baptist

Finding the Iniquitous Baptist

To get to the Iniquitous Baptist's location, you must teleport to the waypoint southwest of Tunigi Hollow and take the road west to a cave. Once beneath the Gate of Zulqarnain, keep following the path until you reach the boss.

Fast Travel to the Tunigi Hollow Southwest Waypoint

You can get to the Iniquitous Baptist's arena by first teleporting to the waypoint on the southwest side of Tunigi Hollow (southeast from the World Boss's icon on the map).

Head Straight to the Cave West

After teleporting, take the road leading west and head inside the cave with burgeoning spirits inside. They're the green orbs you can see at the entrance of the cave!

Follow the Path Until You See the Ruins

Follow the tunnel until you see the ruins, then glide toward the platform that houses the Iniquitous Baptist!

How to Unlock the Iniquitous Baptist

To unlock the Iniquitous Baptist, you must open the Gavireh Lajavard side of the Girdle of the Sands 3.6 Map! After that, you can set out to find the boss and fight it.

How to Beat the Iniquitous Baptist

Check the Colors Before Fighting

You can check what elements the Iniquitous Baptist will use once you enter the edge of the arena via the three colored orbs swirling around in the middle! The boss can use various combinations like the example above for Hydro, Cryo, and Electro.

There are only 4 possible elemental combinations that the Iniquitous Baptist can use.

Get the Proof by Exhaustion Achievement

Defeating the Iniquitous Baptist of every possible elemental combination will net you the "Proof by Exhaustion" achievement.

Destroy All the Elemental Rings

To beat the Iniquitous Baptist World Boss, you must destroy all the Elemental Rings via any Elemental Reactions that are best for it!

Since the boss uses Cryo, Electro, Pyro, or Hydro, you must use either Vaporize or Hyperbloom reactions to destroy all of them.

Destroying all Elemental Rings will paralyze the boss allowing you to dish out more DMG by using all your characters' Elemental Bursts!

Use the Right Element Against Shields

After the Iniquitous Baptist uses the Elemental Ring attacks, it will have a shield under its HP bar periodically.

This shield will vary in element and you must use a counter-element to break it and momentarily incapacitate the Iniquitous Baptist!

As explained in the 3.6 livestream, the Iniquitous Baptist can attack with the Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, and Electro elements and generate shields for corresponding elements to decrease DMG taken.

Homing Energy Blades

The Iniquitous Baptist can summon four energy blades and fire them off as if it were homing missiles to the nearest player.

Elemental Rings

The Iniquitous Baptist can create three Elemental Rings which can be destroyed through Elemental Reactions. This also paralyzes the Iniquitous Baptist temporarily!
