After getting the Specialization, you can craft Combo Chipsets at an Intermediate Supplies Bench. To make these, you need a certain amount of Rusted, Standard, Refined, or Automatic Parts as well as 20 Metal Scraps and 20 Electronic Parts, all of which you can get from disassembling junk.

How to Use Combo Chipset

Sold to Merchants for Energy Links

Combo Chipsets can be sold to Merchants for 12,000 Energy Links each, netting you a large amount of Energy Links to work with. You can sell items at a Merchant by switching to the Sell tab at the top of the screen when interacting with them.

How to Get Combo Chipset Memetic Specialization

Choose as Specialization at Level 20, 25, 30, or 35

Combo Chipset is a Memetic Specialization you can get during the middle of the game, and is one of the possible Specialization choices once you reach Level 20, 25, 30, or 35.

Do note that the Memetic Specializations you choose from every five levels are random, so you are not guaranteed to get Combo Chipset once you reach those levels.

You can use a Specialization Cleaner to reset a Memetic Specialization node and choose a new one if you didn't get this Specialization, but it is still not guaranteed that one of the new selections will be Combo Chipset.
