The Tainted Blood is a Quest Item that can be received as a reward after completing the Prologue: Act 3 Story Quest after defeating Dvalin.

Items rewarded during the Archon Quest, including the Tainted Blood, have no known uses at the time. Players just have to keep playing the game and following the story to see whether these items will be useful in later chapters.
