Trivia[]

  • All characters in the Warrior's Challenge with the title "Master Trainer" are named after words related to plants or food. Lirio and Manzana come from Spanish, where "lirio" means "lily or iris" and "manzana" means "apple." The other names are derived from Nahuatl. Centaca comes from "centacatl," meaning "a bunch or clump of herbs, thistles, lettuce, or cabbage." The first part of Quiltec's name comes from "quilitl," which in modern Spanish is referred to as "quelite" (Amaranthaceae or Coriandrum). Xiuhyo is explained in dictionaries as meaning "grassy" or "leaf." Cima comes from "cimatl," which could refer to the root of wild potatoes. Matzatli comes from "matzahtli," meaning pineapple. "Tepache" is derived from "tepiatl." Avuia may from ahhuiāc means "tasty" or "smelling good."
