Vacuum Fields[1] are objects that displace enemies, players and other objects within an AoE.

Overview[]

Two types of Vacuum Fields exist: Pulling Vacuum Fields and Pushing Vacuum Fields.

Pulling Vacuum Fields are the most common, and will pull targets towards the center of the field. The player can create Pulling Vacuum Fields via character talents like Venti's Wind's Grand Ode, The Viridescent Hunt weapon passive, and special event effects. Pulling Vacuum Fields are a kind of crowd control that can group enemies closer together, making it easier for the player to attack multiple enemies at the same time.

Pushing Vacuum Fields will push targets away from the center of the field. This type of Vacuum Fields is used by some characters to push enemies away while casting certain abilities, and vice versa.

Most player-created vacuums have a Weight requirement. Enemies that do not match this requirement will not be affected by the Vacuum Field.

Vacuum Data[]

Targets within the vacuum Pulling Radius will start to accelerate towards the vacuum center. Radii are measured in meters.

  • "Inner Radius" refers to the area at the center of the Vacuum Field where the pulling effect stops.

There are two parameters governing the pulling strength of the Vacuum Field (also labeled "Wind Zones" in the source code):

  • Strength: Positive Strength indicates a Pulling Vacuum Field; Negative Strength indicates a Pushing Vacuum Field.
  • Attenuation: If Attenuation is greater than 0, the pulling effect will be stronger the closer a target is to the center of the Vacuum Field. If Attenuation is 0, the pulling effect will be the same anywhere inside the Vacuum Field.
    • Certain vacuum fields have reversed Attenuation. These vacuum fields will have a stronger pulling effect the farther the target is from the center of the field.

Plunging Attack: Midare Ranzan
When a Plunging Attack is performed using the effects of the Elemental Skill Chihayaburu, Plunging Attack DMG is converted to Anemo DMG. On landing, Kazuha creates a small wind tunnel via a secret blade technique that pulls in nearby objects and opponents.
Midare Ranzan's DMG is considered Plunging Attack DMG.

Jean Jean
Calling upon the wind's protection, Jean creates a swirling Dandelion Field, launching surrounding opponents and dealing Anemo DMG.
At the same time, she instantly regenerates a large amount of HP for all party members. The amount of HP restored scales off Jean's ATK.

  • Continuously regenerates HP of characters within the AoE and continuously imbues them with Anemo.
  • Deals Anemo DMG to opponents entering or exiting the Dandelion Field.

Sucrose Sucrose
Sucrose hurls an unstable concoction that creates a Large Wind Spirit.

Elemental Absorption
If the Wind Spirit comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro energy, it will deal additional Elemental DMG of that type.

Direction can be adjusted.

Gorou Gorou
Displaying his valor as a general, Gorou deals Aoe Geo DMG and creates a field known as General's Glory to embolden his comrades.

General's Glory
This field has the following properties:
  • Like the General's War Banner created by Inuzaka All-Round Defense, provides buffs to active characters within the skill's AoE based on the number of Geo characters in the party. Also moves together with your active character.
  • Generates 1 Crystal Collapse every 1.5s that deals AoE Geo DMG to 1 opponent within the skill's AoE.
  • Pulls 1 elemental shard in the skill's AoE to your active character's position every 1.5s (elemental shards are created by Crystallize reactions).

If a General's War Banner created by Gorou currently exists on the field when his ability is used, it will be destroyed. In addition, for the duration of General's Glory, Gorou's Elemental Skill "Inuzaka All-Round Defense" will not create the General's War Banner.
If Gorou falls, the effects of General's Glory will be cleared.
Elemental Burst

Faruzan Faruzan
Faruzan deploys a polyhedron that deals AoE Anemo DMG to nearby opponents. She will also enter the Manifest Gale state.
While in the Manifest Gale state, Faruzan's next fully charged shot will consume this state and will become a Hurricane Arrow that contains high-pressure currents. This arrow deals Anemo DMG based on the DMG of a fully charged Aimed Shot from "Normal Attack: Parthian Shot."

Pressurized Collapse
The Hurricane Arrow will apply a Pressurized Collapse effect to the opponent or character hit. This effect will be removed after a short delay, creating a vortex that deals AoE Anemo DMG and pulls nearby objects and opponents in. If the Hurricane Arrow does not hit any opponent or character, it will create a Pressurized Collapse effect at its point of impact.
The vortex DMG is considered Elemental Skill DMG.

Fires off an arrow made of countless coalesced winds, creating a huge Stormeye that sucks in opponents and deals continuous Anemo DMG.

Elemental Absorption
If the Stormeye comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro, it will deal additional elemental DMG of that type.
Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use.

Shikanoin Heizou Shikanoin Heizou
Leaps into the air and uses the Fudou Style Vacuum Slugger and kicks his opponent. The Vacuum Slugger will explode upon hit and create an Arresting Windtunnel that pulls in nearby objects and opponents, dealing AoE Anemo DMG.
When Vacuum Slugger hits opponents affected by Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro, these opponents will be afflicted with Windmuster Iris. This Windmuster Iris will explode after a moment and dissipate, dealing AoE DMG of the corresponding elemental type.
Vacuum Slugger can afflict a maximum of 4 opponents with the Windmuster Iris. A single opponent cannot be under the effect of Windmuster Irises of different elements at the same time.

Upon hit, Normal and Aimed Shot Attacks have a 50% chance to generate a Cyclone, which will continuously attract surrounding opponents, dealing 40~80% of ATK as DMG to these opponents every 0.5s for 4s. This effect can only occur once every 14~10s.
