How are Visions granted? iirc, last year I made a post about a guide to how Visions are distributed. However, some people did have some things to say about that. So I decided to reignite the conversation. Tell me how you think Visions are granted, and I'll try to piece it together with my take on it!

What Dainslef said in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview "Then the threads of all fate will be yours to re-weave." Does that have to do with the Loom of Fate? Or with travelers being able to “re-weave” the threads of all fate? It's found out that the Abyss Orders plan “Loom of Fate” can be used to alter the Ley Lines like what happened in “Caribert” when the traveler found Chlothar Alberich with his son Caribert who was turned into a hilichurl. During the “Bedtime Story” quest It's found out the Loom of Fate is “a device that could create Ley Lines; in its primitive form, it could create and implant memories, but when fully unlocked, while still being able to create Ley Lines of its own the ability to create and implant memories is lose but it still could “change” the world.”

Also, Ley Lines is “a network of elemental energy and memories of everything that has lived in this world, both on the surface and down in the Abyss.” Ley Lines could be the “threads” of all fate, with them being the roots or branches holding the memories of Teyvat with a portion of Ley Lines going to each nation and being led back to the Irminsul. Travelers are the ones to “witness Teyvat history” of this samsara cycle and they could have to sacrifice themselves to be able to restore or create the Ley Lines back to their primitive form with also having to use their memories of Teyvat and implant them into those Ley Lines so the history of that samsara cycle could still be remembered by everyone not just the descenders.

With travelers potentially getting something exactly like “Loom of Fate” or the ability of Dainslefs, which can alter Ley Lines, or possibly when the traveler receives the device/ability, it would add on their original abilities, with that being IMG, which is also the aspect of creation and control. With what Dainslef said, “Then the threads of all fate will be yours to re-weave.” The Ley Lines potentially are the “threads” of all fate, with “fate” being the memories stored within the Ley Lines. Could it be because Teyvat is one of the “bubble worlds” slowly withering away in the Sea of Quanta?

In Honkai Impact 3rd with Su’s project (Project Valuka) in “Project S.A.V.E” being “to perform virtual analysis of other worlds” while using the 2nd divine key “Key of Infinity” that can create a bubble universe in the Sea of Quanta that can be used to peer into those bubble universes and observe events within them and also being able to create bubble universes that can make a world where everyone leads happy lives and die in a beautiful dream of their making but what they would do to leave the past behind was having to "accept the current samsara cycle.”

Project Valuka was being used to try to find a world that had successfully destroyed the Honkai inside of the “Seed of Sumeru.” This could be referring to the completed form of the Loom of Fate that could still “change” worlds. Also, the 8th divine key, “Key of Sentience,” Creates unending dreams and illusions. By manipulating the brain's electrical signals, it can link together multiple consciousnesses for communication, and record/destroy memories. Like Dottore wanting to “burn” the Irminsul (fate) as much as the overall plan of the Fatui aligns with the Abyss Orders plan to overturn the Heavenly Principles of this world and Teyvat being an illusion. Then with “Project Valuka” being able to create “bubble universes” and the 8th Herrscher “Previous Era” being able to have control over dreams, being able to open dreamscapes, and being able to manipulate the brains of humans. With that, Teyvat could be one of those “bubble worlds” slowly withering in the Sea of Quanta. That could be why the visions and the gnosis were created to generate enough power to keep the world afloat. With travelers possibly being a Gnosis of their own, and when Aether and Lumine fought Asmoday, “The sustainer,” after they tried to leave Teyvat, that could be because of the Heavenly Principles' power to sustain the world but with The Sustainer sealing traveler's “powers” (Imaginary?). With Imaginary also being the aspect of “creation and control” (travelers' original abilities being or related to Imaginary) IMG is a term derived from the Imaginary tree, the birthplace of the multiverse. It's a higher-dimensional construct that is responsible for the creation of most universes. Along with the fact that there are worlds beyond the Imaginary tree therefore not created by it. Those “bubble worlds” can also form in the Sea under certain circumstances and can be created by ones with strong wills, powers, or technology. Along with the technology aspect of the Sea “bubble worlds” with Project Valuka, Su created other “bubble worlds” in the Sea to peer into those chosen bubble universes and observe events within them.

With the power aspect of the Sea “bubble worlds” being with the 8th Herrscher “Previous Era” having the power to create unending dreams and illusions by manipulating the brain's electrical signals, it can link together multiple consciousnesses for communication and record/destroy memories. Also, the power aspect of the Sea “bubble worlds” could align with the theory of Teyvat being an illusion. As said in the 1.1 event “Unreconciled Star,” Scaramouche noted, “The stars and sky of Teyvat are fake.” This goes back to Dottore to whom he told Nadihda an exchange of information for the dendro gnosis and said to her that “the skys of Tevyat is fake” also with Dottore’s plan to burn the Irmisul aka fate because that would potentially show what this world looks like beneath the current illusion it's in with travelers potentially living in a dream of their siblings' journey through Teyvat. And with Dottore going to “burn” the Irminsul that could cause Teyvat to completely disappear because this world couldn’t exist without its “fate”.

But along with the possibility of travelers' original element being IMG, there's also a possibility that the element be called “light” because it is the actual element or just a variation of IMG with the light-reflecting colors of the rainbow, which could also be why travelers can use multiple elements and that could also mean that the chest plate/or earring could be what they're using to be able to switch elements after they get them from the statue of the seven or the gnosis is the thing that's giving them the amount of elemental energy they need to be able to use that specific element and can draw out that specific elements elemental energy at will.

Relating back to Traveler and their possible purpose of being in Teyvat and the reason with traveler being called to Teyvat because of khanenri'ah needing help with undoing the current samsara cycle that Teyvat is going through but could the samsara cycle be acting as like a shield and stopping the honkai/honkai energy from entering Teyvat and if Teyvat is one of the bubble worlds that is slowly withering away into the Sea of Quanta, could that make it easier for the Abyss to more easily invade Teyvat and destroy the "threads for fate" while traveler would possibly have to sacrifice their self to "re-weave"/restore them back to how they originally were or create new Ley Lines with having the current history of Teyvat that they know of the reason of the sacrifice being that in the night kingdom someone said that they would have to sacrifice themselves to be able to fully protect and restore the Ley Lines with the power their possibly gonna get from Dainslef or something from their original abilities from before they were sealed at the beginning of Genshin? Could Traveler be the one to put an end to the current samsara cycle that Teyvat is in because of what Dain said in the Teyvat chapter storyline preview "Then the threads of all fate will be yours to re-weave" Does that also mean that after Traveler proves to Dain that he can save their sibling then would they have to sacrifice their self to finally repair the Ley Lines and cause the samsara cycle to end causing the Abyss to be

defeated finally?

So, with Marvelous Merchandise returning very soon as it’s the only event left this patch, I wanted to re visit the previous one which ‘teased’ Natlan, because I remembered that at the time, it felt like Liben hadn’t teased anything substantial.

I may be overthinking it or y’know confirmation bias, but, one of Liben’s lines was “Looking up at the stars at night, I couldn't help but wonder... What lies beyond this world?”, and maybe it’s just me, but it feels like Liben actually hinted at us seeing beyond the false sky, which would be actually kind of insane if that’s the case.

So I've noticed this for a while now but I'm pretty sure these murals we find in Deshret's Mausoleum are probably him

First of all we literally only see them in Deshret's Mausoleum from what I am aware which is a pretty big giveaway. They also have a bird mask/head which would be most similar to the Egyptian sun god Ra like how Deshret also frequently uses sun imagery, and we can see bird and feather imagery associated with Deshret all the time such as all the bird statues we see in the same room, the eagle statues we see at the top, and the feather ornamentation on Candace. I've been so desperate for a Deshret design reveal so this is probably the closest thing we're gonna get.

My personal crack theory about her is that she's actually Alain, but the Robot (Well this theory isn't really mine, many lore enjoyers have this same theory,- maybe with some changes but still, we discussed it on genshin's discord server letme explain it to yall)

Her codename already implies that she's somehow related with puppets and seems to be into tech, and her resemblances with Mary-Ann seems sus enough that she's clearly related with her. besides, Her another name Marionette can also mean "Little Mary"

Now because of these people says that she's Mary-Ann, but seems very unlikely, since the only remaining traces of her as far as we know is the Oceanid Mary-Ann, which is the Oceanid Lyris merged with the consciousness of the human Mary, and Ann, which was born from the consciousness of Mary. because of this, this makes the "Sandrone being Mary-Ann" thing very unlikely, and also the fact that she's into tech, which the human Mary-Ann wasn't particularly interested compared to her brother.

So if she's not Sandrone, who's the girl then?, it might actually be just a puppet, controled by the robot who's always besides her, this conclusion seems pretty reasonable to me and the robot being the actual harbinger.

Now about Alain being "her", something that could implied this is what he was doing in his last years, it's mentioned that he was insolated on his workshop working on something- like building something

"Another goes as such—In his old age, he retired from the Fontaine Research Institute to his workshop, and he would see no one.The research he undertook in his final years was never published, And after the matter, the only things that could be found in his personal workshop were signs that something had been built." -

What if this "something" was the Robot and puppet?. what if he wanted to "continue" living but now in a different body, and somehow transferred his consciousness to the robot, and created the puppet inspired by her sister. so no one suspects? (IK this part sounds like pure copium, but it's possible) or maybe he wanted to replicated his sister, still being affected by her lose? from the description of the artifact it implies that he might actually went "mad"?, and probably, the reason of why he insolated himself.

My main problem with this is that we don't actually have proof about my last sentence, we dunno if he had any motives in the first place, or what was his goal, or why he would joined the Fatui and become a harbinger.

Maybe Sandrone is related with them but not in the way that we imagined or even not be related at all lol

But hey this is just a theory.. a game theory- so don't take all of this as a fact, I might missed something important.

So this is the continuation of the convo me and @Zaelus were getting into about whether or not Raiden did anything wrong or not. Personally I think she did and her punishment was too light for the story however Zaelus disagrees and think she did very little wrong.

This has probably been discussed before, but I haven't seen it yet on the wiki (though I may have missed something) so I wanted to talk about this:

The Snezhnaya card shows us the constellations of the Eleven Harbingers. Some of these are already confirmed, so I tried to do something:

Green = Confirmed

Blue = Very likely, but unconfirmed

Orange = Speculating

Red = "Ialda had no clue"

Right, so we know the whale (Monoceros Caeli) is Childe, the butterfly (no name) is Signora, the dude holding a heart (Peregrinus) is Scara, and the hand holding a flame (Ignis Purgatorius) is Arle.

The rest: I think it's all but confirmed that the marionnette is Sandrone (duh). Same with the crying bird and Columbina cause she's got dove motifs.

The plague doctor mask-thing could be Doc cause it looks sorta like the one he wears, I'm thinking the weird machine thingy is Pantalone cause it looks kinda like Cashflow Supervision if you squint, and the three nails is Cap cause I've already seen speculation about that. Not sure what the reasoning there was. Help?

Additionally, I'm guessing that the split mask design on top represents Pierro (left, cause it looks sorta like his mask) and the Tsaritsa (right; might mean that she also wears half a mask like him. That'd be kinda cool actually...)

So that leaves us with the Tragedy mask and the bloody handprint that could also be like... That style of cave art where it's just hands..?

One of them has to be the Rooster and the other is our Mysterious No. 10. One alternative I have is that the mask might be Pants, leaving the machine thing a mystery.

If my theory that the Traveler is the 10th is true, then one of these could be us, under an assumed identity. Cause as the 4th Descender, we'd be the Tsaritsa's trump card, so we'd be given a disguise and a deliberately low rank to separate the Traveler and Harbinger #10 in the eyes of the world.

But that's just random speculation.

Thoughts?

I was wondering about his face ever since I played the 5.1 story. Or rather, about what's covering it.

So, the game explained why he hides his face, and also clearly states he wears a "mask".

So it's a logical conclusion to say that it's not that his face is "obscured" by his headgear, but rather properly masked.

Thing is, I have a hard time figuring out what kind of "mask" it is, especially since we clearly see his face's outline with the right angles...

• Is it NOT his face's outline but rather a mask that has actual features, just pure black?

• Is it some sort of black shroud he can see through but that, added to the fact the headgear obscures the face area, makes it appears pitch black?

• Is it a "spell" of some sorts, called a mask because it fulfills that role, but actually uses some sort of "magic" to make his facial features impossible to distinguish aside from the general shape?

What do you think?

WARNING!!!! This post contains spoilers for the Natlan archon quests.

Alright, I love Capitano and want him playable just as much as the next person. However, in this case I believe the the evidence is stacked against him and we won’t be seeing the 1st Harbinger join the playable roster. Quite the opposite actually. Sadly, I do believe Capitano will die.

Now I know what you’re thinking. “Pulsar, why would you say such a thing?” Well, let’s back up. We know Capitano is from Khaenri’ah, and was bestowed with the immortality curse by the Gods. His body is falling apart from erosion though- hence the mask. “But he’s immortal, he can’t die Pulsar.” Well, not normally. But we know that Ronova, AKA the Shade of Death is involved.

Shortly after the Cataclysm, Capitano was sent out on his journey by Ronova, and while the exact content of this journey remains unknown, it is stated that it will soon be coming to an end. He has, and I quote, “One final foe to face.” This “foe” is likely something from the Abyss, as they seem to be the main antagonists of the Natlan archon quests. Now who else has one final foe to face? Who else is preparing for a final battle with the Abyss? Who is stated to die in this conflict? That’s right, Mavuika.

We know from Citlali that Mavuika is intending to sacrifice herself in order to fully cleanse the Abyss from the Night Kingdom. And considering Capitano knew about the Pyro Gnosis, he likely knows that this is something she is capable of, and has probably guessed that it’s her final plan. But there’s one hole with this sacrifice. And that’s Mavuika is all but confirmed to be playable. Considering how all of the previous archons have been playable, that sequence where you walk around as her in her memories, and the lack of another character who could take the place as archon and be playable, Mavuika has been blessed with plot armor. So, knowing what we know about the Lord of the Night, the Night Kingdom, and Ronova, somebody has to die in her place. And considering Capitano also has a deal with Ronova, and the fact he’s super honorable and stuff, he seems like the perfect candidate to take her place.

But why? Well, Capitano has been living for 500+ years, and his body is rotting away. It’s entirely possible that he finally wants to be put to rest, and Ronova being the Shade of Death, would likely have the power to end his curse, which will probably cause him to die. So, in summary, Capitano will take Mavuika’s place as the “Price” for calling upon the power to destroy the Abyss Corruption. Or at least that’s what I’m thinking. It all makes sense, I can’t think of another explanation that is nearly as plausible. But, and although this is unlikely, there might be a way for him to live despite this. After all, we know from the Travail trailer that the final chapter of Natlan is called Incandescent Ode of Resurrection.

Now this part is about to get highly theoretical. So bear that in mind for the rest of this. Natlan has the Ode of Resurrection. We all know how that works. But, it doesn’t work on people without an ancient name, and as far as we know Capitano doesn’t have one. But the rules can be bent, we know that with the Traveler. So, what if the Lord of the Night and Ronova or something secretly made Capitano an ancient name. Yeah, it probably didn’t happen, but if it did, the rules would still apply. Capitano would’ve likely died in the Night Kingdom, but victory would’ve been achieved with his sacrifice. That fulfills the other 2 conditions of the Ode. Hey, somebody is getting resurrected at the end, I’m sure of that. Maybe Mavuika will sacrifice herself and we’ll resurrect her instead. Maybe the Traveler will take her place and get resurrected, after all we are getting that ancient name. But ultimately, I think Capitano will be the one to die, one way or another. Oh how I want to be wrong.

In the Mysterious Grimoires there's four symbols right, the sword/scepter, chalice, sibling's original sword, and Fortuna

And the sword matches the sword in the book!!

This proves that this statue is definitively Remus!
