There's one way to check.

If you use the infusion, do a normal attack and then dash or move, the sword appears on her back for a brief time.

If you use elemental sight you can see the weapon being affected by the element.

If it appears brown means that it is infused in Geo.

If it appears white, it means the damage is turned into Geo and the Pyro infusion won't override it.

Alhaitham is immune to Bennett's C6 and when he gets his infusion, his sword doesn't turn Green on Elemental sight, while Keqing's sword does turn purple when infused and hers can be overriden.
