The White Wraith |
Description |
A monster known among the commission as the White Wraith, described as having unique chain-like appendages extending from its wings. A species long thought to have been extinct, its ecology remains shrouded in mystery. |
In the fourth trailer for Monster hunter Wilds, the flagship monster of the game, Arkveld, was introduced. Based on the video, it can be seen that Arkveld has a similar physique similar to that of a Barioth and Tigrex.

Flying Wyvern |
Description |
A Flying Wyvern that rules the Windward Plains as its apex predator. It has adapted to the lightning that accompanies the Sandtide, with most sightings having occurred during the storm. Its ability to discharge electricity in powerful attacks pose a threat to even the most experienced hunters. |
According to the developer interview article, Rey Dau is an apex predator. Just like Rathalos in the Ancient Forest and Diablos in the Wildspire Waste of Monster Hunter World, this mysterious monster is expected to be the top of the food chain in the Windward Plains.

In the fifth trailer of Monster Hunter Wilds, a mysterious monster only known as the Black Flame was introduced. Based on the trailer, it looked like an octopus that uses flame attacks and covers itself in some type of oil.

Desert-dwelling leviathans that use their supple, serpentine bodies to create quicksand traps for unwary prey. |
The Balahara takes advantage of the environment by clinging to rock formations and burrowing underground. It can catch hunters off guard by spewing oil from afar and creating quicksand that restricts a hunter's movement.
The Balahara has similar attack patterns with the Almudron and Agnaktor from the previous games. It can burrow and attack from underground which can be troublesome for hunters.

Description |
Rugged, territorial fanged beasts that exhibit an aggressive disposition and inhabit a large range. Sometimes observed in large packs. |
The Doshaguma fights in packs to overwhelm hunters. A good strategy against the Doshaguma is to dispatch the cubs before focusing on the Doshaguma itself.
The Doshaguma has a similar stance and attack patterns as the Goss Harag from Monster Hunter Rise. Watch out for its wide, sweeping attacks!

A large species of amphibians that use the adhesive quality of their saliva to affix stone to their forelimbs in order to power up their attacks. |
The Chatacabra is able to stick ores and rocks to its forearms to unleash devastating attacks. Attacking its arms while in this state can cause the rocks to shatter and hurt you instead!
The Chatacabra has a similar body structure with the Garangolm from Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak which primarily uses its large forearms to attack.

A Leviathan that rules the Scarlet Forest as its apex predator. It has adapted to water-rich environments and is sighted most often during the Downpour. It makes use of the moisture and its own bodily fluids to create a protective veil around itself. |
In the fourth trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds, the Leviathan Uth Duna, the apex predator of the Scarlet Forest was showcased. It's expected to be a strong enemy as it's a monster of the same rank as Rey Dau, who is also the apex predator of the Windward Plains.

Description |
A Temnoceran that resides in the Scarlet Forest. Its thorax, which can be opened at will, resembles a rose in bloom. |
The Lala Barina uses its stinger, claws, and spiked legs to devastate its prey. It can also release flowers into the air that can paralyze hunters who come into contact with it.
The Lala Barina is a Temnoceran like the Rakna-Kadaki and Nerscylla. Their attacks are usually tricky to deal with and their weak spots are well-protected.

Brute Wyvern |
Description |
Brute wyverns with disproportionately long tails. They spread a flammable substance, then ignite it by dragging their tails along the ground. They can often be seen fighting with other, smaller carnivores over carrion. |
Quematrice is a Brute Wyvern like Anjanath. Given this similarity, hitting parts such as the tail and head would prove difficult. To create openings against Brute Wyverns, continously attack their legs to topple them and then proceed whacking their weak parts.

A brute wyvern that inhabits areas of deep oilsilt. |
The Rompopolo inhabits areas with rich oil deposits which can severely hinder a hunter's mobility. It can also spew a poisonous mist to defend itself.

A fanged beast characterized by the flame-like protrusions that cover its back. |
The Ajarakan is a quick and agile fanged beast that can set itself on fire to become more lethal. It can also hang from rocky structures to outmaneuver hunters.
The Ajarakan has a similar body structure as the fan favorite Rajang, which uses its muscular arms to pummel its prey.
