Origin[]
The Kasib Berry is based on a fingered citron while its name could originate from the kabbad (another type of citron fruit) or the alternate name for the fingered citron: the "Buddha's hand". The Berry being able to lessen damage from Ghost type attacks may reference the name of the Buddha's hand, as the Buddha is said to have spiritual powers.
