After defeating Dialga/Palkia (Origin Form) in the boss fight, a cutscene will play showing the player character using the Origin Ball to capture the Legendary Pokémon.

The Origin Ball will disappear from the Key Items in the Satchel menu once you regain control of the player character, making it a temporary item.

Locations[]

Here are the locations where the Origin Ball can be obtained!

• You obtain the Origin Ball after bringing the Origin Ore to Professor Laventon in Jubilife Village. He will use the ore to create a special Poke Ball used to capture Dialga/Palkia in its Origin Form.

Trivia[]

• The Origin Ball's design is very similar to the Cherish Ball.
• Unlike other Poké Balls used in Hisui, which shake only once before verifying a capture, the Origin Ball shakes three times, like modern-day Poké Balls.
• The Origin Ball's shape is that of a truncated icosahedron.
• The Origin Ball is the only usable Poké Ball that is also a Key Item.
