Curry is a dish consisting of curry served with rice, popular in the Galar region. Making curry is a feature in Pokémon Camp.
Mechanics[]
To start making a curry, the player may access the main menu, select "Cooking," then choose "Want to cook!" The process will start by adding ingredients.
Ingredients[]
First is choosing Berries. Up to 10 Berries can be added by a player; the more Berries added, the larger the amount of Pokémon's friendship will increase. Putting rarer Berries would also increase the friendship. Each Berry also has its own flavor attribute. After summing up each flavor values of all Berries added, whichever the flavor's score is the highest will be the flavor of the curry; otherwise, the curry will not have a specific flavor.

Cooking[]
Cooking curry consists of three steps:
- Fan the Flames!: The player can make the flame larger by fanning it using the A Button or waving the Joy-Con up and down. The larger the flame, the better the curry will be, but if the flame is too large, it will burn the curry.
- Give It a Good Stirring!: The player can stir the curry ingredients using either one of the Control Sticks or waving the Joy-Con in a circular motion. Stirring it too slowly will cause the curry to be burnt, while stirring it too quickly will cause the curry to spill.
- Put Your Heart into It!: The player can throw their heart ball by pressing the A Button or waving the Joy-Con in a throwing motion. It is best to throw it while the yellow circle shrinks to the lime-green zone.
Result[]
Two plates of the resulting curry is shown, next the player and the first Pokémon are seen eating it, giving a reaction of the curry. The resulting curry's class is then shown.
Some Pokémon are given an amount of curry different than the standard one.
Curry Dex[]
The Curry Dex records how many types of curry the player has made, as well as the highest class the player has cooked a type of curry. There are 151 types of curry.
Because Bach's Food Tin and Bob's Food Tin are version-exclusive items, trading is required for one to complete the Curry Dex.

Appearances[]
Anime[]
Though curry has already appeared multiple times in the anime, curry on rice debuted in "Sobbing Sobble!", where Ash, Goh, their Pokémon, and later an invisible Sobble were seen eating it.
Curry appeared as one of the dishes eaten in "Crowning the Chow Crusher!".
In "A Pinch of This, a Pinch of That!", Ash, Goh, Chloe, Cara Liss and Gasattsu made curry during the restoration of Fossil Pokémon. It included Goh's mashed Pecha Berries, Chloe's freshly made whipped cream and Gasattsu's half peeled potatoes.
Trivia[]
- There are exactly 151 types of curry that can be cooked, referencing the amount of Pokémon introduced in Generation I.
- The reason why curry is included is because curry was introduced to English cuisine starting with Anglo-Indian cooking in the 17th century as spicy sauces were added to plain boiled and cooked meats, and Galar is a United Kingdom-based region. In addition, curry is a renowned cuisine in the UK itself.
- An NPC mentions that curry is popular both in Kanto and Galar, which references how curry is popular both in the UK and in Japan in real life.
