This is a guide on how to get behind the waterfall in New Pokemon Snap (Pokemon Snap 2) for the Nintendo Switch. Read on to learn how to take the alternate route behind the waterfall in Jungle Day and Night, and what Pokemon can be found there.

How to Get Behind the Waterfall

In Jungle (Day)

In order to gain access to the alternate route behind the waterfall, remove the Liepard from the rock in front of the waterfall by throwing an Illumina orb at it. Once the Liepard is out of the way, scan to reveal the entrance to the alternate route, and hold X over the icon that appears to take the new path. This can only be done on research level 3.

In Jungle (Night)

To access the route behind the waterfall, remove the Liepard and Pikipek asleep on the rock in front of the waterfall by playing Melody while approaching them. Immediately scan to reveal the entrance to the alternate route. This can only be done on research level 2.
