This is a guide on how to get Sweet Medals in New Pokemon Snap (Pokemon Snap 2) for the Nintendo Switch. Read on to learn what are Sweet! Medals, as well as rewards for obtaining them.
When you upload your photos online, other players can view those photos and give you Sweet! Medals. These medals serve as the game's "like" button.
Note that you need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to obtain and give Sweet! Medals.
Online Features: How Does Online Play Work?
The Featured Course section shows photos of Pokemon from the specific course. As shown in the image, photos of Torchic and Flygon are featured as they are the Pokemon that you can find in Sands (Day).
Uploading a photo from the Featured Course may help increase your chances of earning Sweet! Medals, as the photo can be easily found in the menu upon selecting Internet.
Levels List and How to Unlock Levels
To increase your chances of earning Sweet! Medals further, we recommend choosing and uploading a photo of a Pokemon found in early levels.
Photos of Pokemon found in later levels may be covered with a spoiler warning, depending on whether the player has encountered the Pokemon in their game. This prevents them from viewing your photo unless they choose to bypass it.
Lental Region Photodex: Complete Pokemon List
On the main menu, go to the Lab and select Your Space. Select Album and choose a photo and click the Photo Editing button.
Add stickers, as well as a filter and a frame to your chosen photo.
We have observed that photos with clever or funny edits tend to earn a lot of Sweet! Medals, so be sure to save any funny photo during your research so you can edit and upload it later.
After editing the photo, select the Upload button to share the photo online.
If you have reached the maximum amount, you need to delete a photo to make way for the new one. Deleting a photo does not affect the total number of Sweet! Medals received.
Reuploading the same deleted photo resets its total number of Sweet! Medals to zero.
To check the photo, select Internet and click Your Page. Select the newly uploaded photo and check to see if it received some Sweet! Medals.
You can also find your total number of Sweet! Medals received just below your Research Title.
Sometimes when Professor Mirror evaluates a photo, he will remark it as his favorite and automatically uploads the photo online.
You can check these photos on Your Page under the Professor's Favorite section. These photos, along with your own uploaded photos, also receive Sweet! Medals.
