You can unlock Burst Mode after completing the Illumina Spot on Outaway Cave. After the credits roll, Todd Snap lets you know that he had Professor Mirror add this feature on your camera.
Progression Guide and Complete Story Walkthrough
While on an expedition, press the Plus (+) button to pause the game and select Settings from the menu.
Under Game Settings, select Burst Mode. You can choose to take 3, 4, or 6 photos from the selection.
After selecting the desired number of photos, press the A button and watch as the camera takes multiple photos!
You can use Burst Mode to take photos of fast moving Pokemon or capture unusual behaviors. Using this feature also helps you complete all four star photos of each Pokemon.
