Both of them got quite the shock the second time they met, but fond memories of the first time. They needed support from each other as they experienced all kinds of crazy feelings as they did the tasks they were assigned. I hated how Christopher freaked out and ran, but Regan was able to get Christopher to really see what he wanted. You can see that these 2 have quite the future ahead of them.

I didn't care for Mark, he came off as an asshole. I liked Sabrina, but she was a hot mess. I thought she dealt with Mark showing up very well, when she was totally expecting someone else. Mark grew on me as you could tell that the feelings he had for Sabrina were real and that he was upset about learning things from her past. I loved it too when he really wanted more for Sabrina, that he didn't want her to settle, even if he didn't talk to her about what she really wanted.
The two did have some smoking hot chemistry, even when they weren't interested in each other at the start. I really loved what Mark did at the end, how he was willing to change his whole life for her so that she could have her dream. But better was Sabrina's answer, it was perfect for them both.

At the start Elvis wasn't learning much, but once he did, he realized he might be over his head. As always, Elvis called on friends to help. In the middle of this case Lucy and Ben came back into play, throwing off Elvis a bit as he was unsure what to think/feel.
Elvis managed to get to to the bottom of things by finding the missing Josh, how ended up doing what all podcasters want, break a HUGE story, but it came at a huge cost too.
Lucy surprised me with her present to Elvis, it was great and something both of them have wanted for a long time.

This was a fun one, set in the Justice world with the characters popping in and out. It was interesting to see them from a different perspective.
This This was a fun one, set in the Justice world with the characters popping in and out. It was interesting to see them from a different perspective.
This book takes off of the last Justice book where the dream of the hotel came up, this one revolves around bringing the hotel to life. I liked seeing all these new faces in Bendover, watching all of them becoming charmed by the town and what the Justice guys were doing.
Ian was interesting, a wary single dad, not looking for anything. Mabel was needing a change in her life and on a lark she went to see about the job at the hotel. I loved seeing these two do their jobs in bringing the hotel to life, loved them dancing around their attraction and then giving into the attraction and how everyone in their lives chimed in. It wasn't easy, both had baggage to work through, but their attraction was enough that it made them want to work through the problems. Things got really sticky towards the end, but it also solidified what everyone wanted, to be a family.
I look forward to reading more of these side tales in Bendover, to seeing the town grow and be as unusual as Justice is.

Liked that he was instantly smitten with Nichole from a far and close up when he met her. Rambo was a good way in for Jack, glad that Nichole took Jack up on the training.
Both of them seemed so smitten with each other, I loved how both of them went with it and how Jack kept trying to pull back, to be a gentleman because he knew he wasn't going to be around. It was great how after he explained things to Nichole, she didn't care, that she was willing to take the time they had. They were cute together!
I liked that Jack stepped up when Nichole needed help. First from the guy who stole her commission and then with her ex and heck, even her brother. It was great that Jack didn't instantly dismiss the brother, but showed him a better path in life, one that he reached out with happily.
I hated the drama at the end. From Jack pulling a stupid boy move of "you deserve better" to one night of drinking going way out of control. About the only good thing to come out of it was that Jack had to face his real future and he came up with a great plan of how to do that. Once the ambiguousness of his future was gone, all that was left was for Jack to win Nichole back.
This one ended in a great way! Jack and Nichole living their lives happy and a new business starting up!
On a side note...how funny was Jack's Grammie! I loved her and Dirty Mary, the stuff those 2 came up, so funny!

It seemed like with Ham's flitting in and out of Zara's life he was doing just enough to keep her tethered to him and not letting her have a real chance at life. You knew at the start that Zara wanted Ham to give her a reason to let Greg go, instead he walked away. I hated that at that point he broke her heart.
I understood why Zara wanted to make sure that Ham was all right after his close call, but after Ham stormed back into her life I sort of wished that she hadn't make that call. I was torn at this point, because obviously Zara needed some help, but I hated how Ham rolled in and took over. His whole "we'll just be roommates/buddies" seemed like it was false and would be incredible awkward, because of their past. I also hated the drama that came up between them. At one point or another they were both at fault.
When Zara's past came out I was stunned, stunned at what she had to live through and how she was taken advantage of. It was here that Ham was finally able to win me over, mostly because he started to explain things. So much drama wouldn't have had to happen, because as much as actions do speak, Zara needed the words.
I did like how this one ended, loved that Zara got part of her family back and that all the drama was done for her and Ham.

They were well matched in thoughts and it was fun to see them change their relationship to exclusive bang buddies. When the wrench in their plan showed up, it didn't surprise me, but how both reacted did a bit. I think Brandon really didn't realize what he was doing, but talking to his parents really helped.

I was iffy on Nick for quite a bit of the book. I didn't like how he kept pushing Brooke, hated it more after he learned why she had the walls she did and why he was so made she wouldn't stand up for him, when he is the one that should have been standing up for her.

While investigating, Darius had a lot to learn about Sasha's sport and the town. You could tell he was a bit skeptical of both, but both won him over. I liked how the relationship changed and the chance that both took. They each shared secrets that seemed to bond them together.
I was so disappointed in who the bad guy was and why. It was such a petty reason and they deserved everything they got.

They both were honest about where they were at that moment in time. Although Connor didn't share about his past right away, he did later and in a way that Sloan understood.
I loved that when their time together ended neither of them wanted to have that be it, that they wanted to keep in touch, even if it was difficult.

You always knew there was something up with her past, she was so prickly, but you also loved her. Learned about her past broke my heart! I hated hearing what we did, but it made how she was so much more understandable.
Bo was interesting, I didn't ever see that he was maybe interested in Lucy. But after hearing about his past, you can see why he was standoffish. With their 2 pasts, these 2 were perfect for each other, because you knew once they allowed themselves to fall that would be it, they would be all in.
I was glad that Bo took things slow with Lucy, she needed to be able to choose what she was going to do. It also allowed them to build a base of friendship before each of them spilled their secrets.
The drama at the end was so crazy! I hated what Lucy went through, but also was glad she got her revenge too, even if the actions would never been seen that way. By clearing the threat from her past Lucy now is free to start living her life out in the open, with Bo by her side.

Often times we get to see the core group in a different perspective, that happened with Cruz and Alex. I loved the stories that Cruz shared about Alex. Much the same could be said about Blaze and Remy.
Now with this book, you knew there would be lots of Justice high jinx and it was there. The feud with the Chixie Dicks, the wedding of Sophie and Jace, along with all the family arriving. Nothing is ever done on a normal level, when it can be over done for the entertainment of all.
I liked seeing Cruz's perspective on knowing the guys before they met the women and after and how he agrees that the Justice women really run things. I especially liked seeing Cruz face Meghan in what was a cozy dinner at home with the kids and realize how much he had been played and worked over at the same time. He left a big gob smacked.
Cruz and Blaze were an interesting couple. Their attraction was there from day one, the flirting on boil, but once both of them shared secrets things went into high drive. I loved how Cruz played to win with Blaze, that he went into things knowing he wanted forever and wasn't about to let Blaze know otherwise, which shocked her.

In fact I started the book, then stopped and put it down for a few days before coming back to it, very unusual for me. But after having read it, the book kinda needed to start slow, things had to be laid out, because there was so much more going on than an airplane crash, that it happened on Antarctica, made things so much harder for Miranda and her crew.
There were so many political ramifications in this one, it was crazy! I thought it interesting how, we the reader, got to see what the powers at different countries were doing while the action took place and how they kept in touch with their people and the directives given.
Since this one was more than just a crash, it was fun to see Holly sort of take the lead. Of course it helped that she was called directly for help, sort of putting Australia first in seeing what was going on. But Holly had other skills that were good, talking to people without alarming them and getting to the bottom of what was really going on.
Things got a bit harry towards the end, threats that should not have been even possible, consequences of the threat and finally consequences of what was done on a larger scale. I didn't mind how one country got taken down a peg or 3, they needed to for their actions.
Once everyone was back home, it was nice to see the whole group back together, with a couple of couples realizing things about their relationships.
