I'm absolutely loving that the Abyss is scary again. We got too used to them. What we saw was mostly the Order - creepy and lore-heavy, but sorta in the backgroynd, with enemies that become easy af at a certain point.

And with Enjou being Enjou...

Most of us forgot that the Order is just one small fragment of what is essentially a whole ass alternate dimension that's alive and wants us dead.

Hmm... A bit of lore says that the "wings" of the mimiflora are immature gates to other worlds. Maybe play off of that concept?

Or maybe play with the Kabbala concept? Irminsul as the Tree of Life/Sefirot and the Abyssal equivalent as the inverse, the Qliphoth

Or you could have it parasitically growing from Irminsul/its roots?

I've heard of it, but I don't agree with it. Their idea that the Abyss somehow contributes to evolution doesn't make sense considering how all the lore shows it as a destructive force, as opposed to a creative one.

The Vishap Realm/Light Realm/Primordial Sea is evolution; the Abyss is... I suppose entropy.

I have based it off of the Black abyss, white flower divine key of creation from honkai

I watched the Ashikai video. Found it funny how the first half was basically the electromagnetic spectrum unit in my science class, and the second half was an analysis on H. P Lovecraft.
