February 19 Trailer: Everything We Learned

Three weeks following the release of the game, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are now revealing some of the secrets they held back from before release.

Hisuian Form Partner Pokemon Evolutions

The trailer starts off by showing the three partner Pokemon, Rowlet, Oshawott, and Cyndaquil going through their evolutionary stages. While they respectively evolve into what we know to be the standard forms of Dartrix, Dewott, and Quilava, the trailer goes on to show their final evolutions that have different Hisuian Forms.

Hisuian Samurott

Hisuian Decidueye, now a Grass/Fighting-type, shows off his new signature move, Triple Arrows. Hisuian Typhlosion, now a Fire/Ghost-type, demonstrates its new signature move, Infernal Parade. And Hisuian Samurott, now a Water/Dark-type attacks with its new signature move Ceaseless Edge.

Next, the trailer shows the new forms for Dialga and Palkia. In their Origin Forme, they each perform their signature moves, Roar of Time and Spacial Rend respectively.

While we previously learned of Mai, Arezu, and Iscan, the trailer introduces to us the last two of the Diamond clan's wardens: Melli and Sabi

Likewise, we now get to meet the rest of the Pearl Clan's wardens. Joining Lian is Calaba, Palina, Ingo, and Gaeric.

Mysterious Figure Who Tells You About Old Legends

Finally, the last character introduced is Cogita, a woman who lives alone in the Ancient Retreat. She will tell you of legends passed down by her ancestors as your quest leads you to collect the different Plates of Arceus.
