So. Three things.
1. I rediscovered Norman Reedus. I knew him before, from Boondock Saints and Blade II, before he became Daryl on The Walking Dead. But sometime in the last two weeks I've suddenly just realized that not only is he awesome as DARYL, he's actually all-round super talented and incredible and I should see everything he's done ever. (This is how it is for me. See: Willis, Bruce.) It helps that he's like super adorable as NORMAN as well, and kickass and sweet and funny and smart and freakin' awesome with his fans. I would draw a heart here if I could.
3. Alexander Skarsgard? Is really very very very pretty. And no slouch in the acting department himself (but sorry, Skarsgard, you're not at Reedus's level. I still think you're darned cool.)
2. I have been wanting to do a movie log and a book log for, like, always. I love reading other peoples, and I think I even said at the beginning of this year that I was going to do one. Then I just… didn't. So. It's never too late, right?
Massive Movie Log dump for the first three months of 2012! I'll try to keep spoilers at a minimum.
( Two Reedus MoviesCollapse )
( Three Skarsgard MoviesCollapse )
( Two Justin Long MoviesCollapse )
( Movies That Don't Actually Star Reedus, Long, or SkarsgardCollapse )
So let's see, that's… nine movies. For me, that's not too shabby, because usually when I sit down to watch a movie I feel guilty that I'm not doing something more productive that uses my brain, like writing, or something that needs to be done, like… cleaning the bathtub. I also watch DVDs of TV shows when I work-out on the bike, and the last three months has seen me go through the last three seasons of Dexter, all four seasons of True Blood, a rewatch of Generation Kill, and I'm currently on a rewatch of S2 of The Walking Dead. So. Lots of TV time there for me.
Next up for me is probably The Beatniks. Reedus as musician? Yes please.
