We still don’t know if Mavuika makes it, and who will inherit her will, like she’s literally the ONLY pyro-aligned character in Natlan.
So yea, I’m up to the suprise

Alright still shows that authority can split while also explaining why Focalors had to go through all those hoops in order to transfer over control to Neuvi.
Also Mavuika will have the shade of death's power and Yohualtecuhtin to back her up in order to make her transfer more secure like I said before.
Also you do remember Mavuika needed all 6 heroes to show up in order to fire up the sacred flame again and connect everyone to the ode of resurrection right? If she could just do that whenever why wouldn't she? Its going to take way more in order to permanently connect it to everyone.
Also while he might spare Mavuika ultimately I still think there's something wrong with the idea that Neuvillette might just murder Venti, Zhongli, and all the other archons for taking something they were forced into by their environment into taking. That is depending on what Neuvi considers the proper "sentencing" for taking the dragons' authority so I still think it could be a cool topic for further exploration.
He said "judge" not murder. When talking about Zhongli, doesn't he say that it might not even involve a physical confrontation? Plus, he also said he'd have to re-evaluate Venti cause he's a 'harmless drunk' and was sympathetic to Nahida and even complimented her. So I don't think he's planning to go on a murder spree. "Eh, maybe now, maybe in a millennia" was how important he sees it too.
I don't think he ever said anything about taking their authorities either, just making them understand their guilt (cause they'd be complicit in his eyes). Might even back off if he finds out that all of them hate HP anyway.
... The Shade of Death's power is also all that's needed to use the Flame? Plus, Natlan's theme of unity fits linking everyone to the Flame more than scattering the power to the winds does.
Yeah here:
"Nothing will stop me from rendering judgment on each of The Seven. As the Archon who won the Authority of Geo, Deus Auri must be called to trial. If one does not wish to see us on opposite sides of a conflict, they need not worry, for I intend to stay in Fontaine for the foreseeable future, which could well mean another four hundred years. As another point of consolation, even when the trial eventually takes place, it is still not a given that the judgment will lead to a physical confrontation."
I mean, by "physical confrontation" he could just mean a full blown fight so technically if Zhongli just lets himself get executed or have his authority taken that might not mean a "physical confrontation". His dialogue about skies falling and "returning all the waters to the heavens" for his Venti and Raiden lines which suggest he does expect something bad to happen with them at least. Raiden is definitely going to try attacking him lol, at least an island is going down in that encounter. But I digress we aren't here to talk about Neuvi.
"... The Shade of Death's power is also all that's needed to use the Flame?"
Yeah and she needed the six heroes to show up in order to use the shade of death's power lol and the shade of death's power needs someone to die eventually which I think will be the pyro throne maybe and now we're just back to where we started. Also I don't think the pyro throne getting scattered goes against the unity idea. If anything I was seeing it like as "hey now we ALL have the power to defend our country, anyone can be a hero!" Type thing. At least you no longer think Mavuika is going to end Natlan by becoming a "full deity" and becoming even more perfect and powerful because I was definitely opposed to that. We're most likely both going to be wrong and it turns out those 6 flames Mavuika was talking to at the end of the first trailer are just going to be the ones to sacrifice themselves in Mavuika's place lol.
I very much doubt he plans to kill them all still. None of that implies that, it's just poetic language. He also promises that they won't be on opposing sides + we wouldn't let him kill our friends even if he's also our friend.
The thing with the heroes is hardly the full use of the Shade's power.
And besides. There's a simpler solution:
Clean the Abyss out of the Night Kingdom -> more power to the Wayobs and the Lord -> safe travels.
Remember that the reason they couldn't protect people outside of Natlan was cause the Abyss is all over them, corrupting and weakening them so they have to use extra power to fight back. Once the Abyss is gone from there, Natlaners should travel just fine. Problem solved.
Any additional shenanigans done with the Flame would be just that - additional.
The Pyro Throne is also not "someone" but rather an inanimate (and possibly metaphorical) something, so I very much doubt it can be sacrificed in her stead. When Focalors executed the Hydro Archon, she executed herself, not her Throne. It's not something that can die cause it was never alive in the first place lol
Eh, no matter what happens we can all agree Mavuika isn't gonna die. Hoyoverse ain't missing out on that archon money lmao.
She has a playable model already. Granted, she only has walking animations programmed, but it would be a waste.
^ ITS PLAYABLE IN CHAPTER FIVE
Yea its confirmed mavuika def gonna be playable
^^Yes, I don't feel like arguing my theory any more since we're just gonna be here forever otherwise. Like I said before I don't even hard core believe its gonna happen.
Wow wow this blew up, holy!
Anyway, although I'm looking forward to Mavuika, i’m looking more forward to what will happen to her nation and will if she-god forbid- doesn’t make it out. Remember what Citlali said: Mavuika used the Shade of Death, Ronova’s powers, which means that she will have to pay a hefty price, probably with her life. Whatever hoyo is cooking, it’s gonna be shocking in the end.
What do you think?
