We didn't think the Crash ability's boom could get any biggest-er...but this one can break time itself! Slow down time, then act fast to cause some real destruction!
— Figure description from Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Time Crash is an Evolved Copy Ability based on Crash that appears in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. While equipped with this ability, Kirby gains a golden top hat with a shining hourglass inset and a timer dial on the front. Time Crash allows Kirby to create an explosion that slows time down significantly for a few seconds, creating a sepia-tone effect and muffling the music. Unlike Crash however, the explosion itself does not deal damage to enemies; instead, it surrounds Kirby with an energy field, and he can run into enemies to deal heavy damage to them, in a manner similar to Invincible Candy. This extends the duration of the slowdown with each new enemy defeated. During the move, Kirby cannot be hurt by collision with normal enemies, Mid-Bosses, or Bosses, but he can still take damage from invincible enemies or projectiles, as well as other hazards. However, they will be affected by the slow time, letting Kirby avoid them more easily. As the slowdown effect wears off, time begins to move faster and the area of the sepia filter shrinks towards Kirby until it vanishes completely, and Kirby loses the ability. If the move is interrupted before it runs out, such as by leaving the area, activating Mouthful Mode, or triggering a cutscene, the ability will not be lost, and can be used again.

The Blueprint for Time Crash can be obtained in Invasion at the House of Horrors in Wondaria Remains. After completing the main story, it can only be powered-up once. Time Crash is necessary to play and complete the Treasure Road stage Stop Time! Slow-World Scramble, which is marked with three stars of difficulty.
