— Trader Waddle Dee, in Kirby and the Forgotten Land
|
Trader Waddle Dee is a Waddle Dee who appears in Gotcha Machine Alley in Waddle Dee Town, in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. They are the last unique Waddle Dee to appear in the town, appearing after Kirby completes The Ultimate Cup Z in the Colosseum, and they are distinguished only by the blue Gotcha capsule they hold. Their purpose is to help Kirby collect any remaining figures that he is missing, and they will give Kirby a randomly-obtained figure he does not already have in exchange for a Rare Stone.
If Kirby already has every randomly-obtained figure, Trader Waddle Dee will acknowledge this, but will still offer to trade with Kirby regardless, giving him figures that he hasn't obtained the maximum number possible of. Figures are marked with a crown in the figure collection when Kirby has collected the maximum number of duplicates for that figure.

- "So...would you care to trade one of your Rare Stones for my Gotcha Machine figure, Kirby?"
- "If you ever feel like collecting more figures, I'm always ready to trade!"
- "If you ever have a Rare Stone to spare...and feel like collecting more figures..."
- "Well, I'll be here! I'm always ready to trade."
- "What?! You've already got ALL of the figures that are currently available? That's amazing!"
- "Whoa! You already have a complete collection of figures? Like, every single one?! That's amazing!"
- "Well, all the same...would you like to trade my figure for one of your Rare Stones anyway?"
- "Oh! Sorry. You don't have enough Rare Stones..."
|
- Despite being a unique NPC in Waddle Dee Town, Trader Waddle Dee doesn't have their own figure.
