Where the Dandelions Find Rest is the third and final quest in the The Very Special Fortune Slip World Quest series. It will require that the player be Adventure Rank 40 to complete.

Quest Description

According to Momoyo, you can return to the safehouse now to see how the work is proceeding.

(Approaching the safehouse): Paimon: Momoyo should be done making that dummy by now, right?

(Entering the safehouse): Paimon: It's the Fatui? What are they doing here!?; Fatui Soldier: Ugh, that woman, she spread something into the air in her panic! Ah-choo! Gah! My nose!; Fatui Soldier: Less complaining, more searching this place!

The Fatui have somehow shown up at the safehouse. Defeat them first, then look for Momoyo's whereabouts.

(Attack the Fatui): Fatui Soldier: Who are you!?

(After defeating the Fatui): Paimon: Momoyo! Momoyo! Where are yooou?; Paimon: Oh no, this place has been trashed by the Fatui. Momoyo's stuff... and the materials... They're all gone!; Looks like this safehouse isn't safe anymore.; Paimon: But what's happened to Momoyo? Was she... captured by the Fatui!?; Paimon: Actually, wait a moment. There's been this weird smell ever since we entered the safehouse. There's something in the air here...; There's powder on the ground.; Paimon: Powder? Is that the elemental powder we used the last time? C'mon, (TravelerTraveler), use your Elemental Sight, quick! This has to be a message that Momoyo left for us in her time of need!

The elemental powder leads out of the safehouse — time to start the pursuit.

Paimon: Momoyo must've used the elemental powder to show us her location. We've gotta go save her!

The elemental trail continues up to the waterfall next to the Court of Flowing Sand. That's where your pursuit shall start.

(Upon reaching the waterfall next to the Court of Flowing Sand): Paimon: The trail keeps going on and on. Where did the Fatui take her?

(Upon reaching Araumi): Paimon: The trail's heading towards the abandoned house on that cliff!

(After locating the abandoned house): Paimon: There's no mistaking it! The trail ends in that abandoned house on that cliff!

The abandoned structure seems to contain a secret underground passage. Enter it to search for Momoyo.

(Enter the domain): Paimon: This place seems to have its secrets after all...; Paimon: Shh! Listen. There are people talking over there.; Fatui Sergeant: Gah. Never expected that woman's lips to be sealed up so tight. Not a peep from her at all!; Fatui-Aligned Ronin: Not to worry, sirs. Interrogation is our specialty. Take a break. We'll take care of this in a moment!; Fatui Sergeant: We haven't much time left. The Teacher wants to know how much she knows about our plans, and he wants to know now — or we'll be in hot soup too!; Fatui-Aligned Ronin: Gah. His temper is really... something. What in the world did that woman do to anger him so?; Fatui Sergeant: The Teacher's latest plans have this person named Lyudochka as a critical piece. But this Shuumatsuban woman took her out!; Fatui Sergeant: Fortunately, the fire hadn't quite gone out when we rushed in. The Teacher, sharp-eyed as he is, identified Lyudochka from her clothes right away and recognized that our plans might be at risk.; Fatui-Aligned Ronin: Bad as that might have been, he really salvaged things, huh?; Fatui Sergeant: Still, we don't know how much of our plans this woman is privy to, or if she's informed anyone else in the Shuumatsuban yet.; Paimon: It looks like Momoyo is locked up in an underground cell. Let's get her outta there!

(After approaching the enemies): Fatui-Aligned Ronin: What the—!? You scared the crap out of us! Who are you, and how did you get in here!?; Fatui Sergeant: They might be with that woman! Get them!

(Approaching a locked wall): Paimon: Listen, there are sounds coming from behind that door! Is that Momoyo?

(Using the dialog option knock once on the wall): Momoyo: *cough* I've said this before. I've got nothing to say to you pieces of garbage. If you're going to finish me, do it soon!; Paimon: Momoyo!; We're here to save you.; Momoyo: Paimon and (TravelerTraveler)? Hah. To think that you'd find this place, huh?; Paimon: Come on, quit talking tough. Since you left the elemental powder behind, you must've believed that we come to rescue you!; Momoyo: Hmph. Then what would you like me to do? Praise your skills?; Paimon: Hehehe. That can wait till later. Let's get you out of here first. Come on, let's go get that door!; Momoyo: The door's locked. The key should be with their superior.; Momoyo: They seem to have been notified of something halfway through the interrogation, since they left in a hurry.; Momoyo: They should be plotting in secret in the room on the highest floor.; Momoyo: It's likely that they have locked the door from the other side while this is happening. You'll need special magatama to unlock it.; Got it.; Momoyo: Alright. Thank you.

You'll need a key to open that cell gate. Momoyo says that it's quite likely to be on a junior leader of the Fatui.

(Knock once on the wall again): Momoyo: Well? Found the key yet?

(Entering the room behind the door requiring amulets): Pavel: Agh, I never thought that our operational plans would be leaked. That's some awful luck!; Ilyin: Exactly! Also, I heard that the Teacher was summoned back to Snezhnaya, but that the Watatsumi Island operation is still going ahead.; Ilyin: Don't you think the Teacher is acting a bit too independently? He didn't report this operation to Lady Arlecchino, did he?; Pavel: That's true. This is his own idea. You know what? I've got a bad feeling about this...; Ilyin: Are you saying that if we fail, the Teacher's just going to pin all the blame on us?

(Upon engaging in combat): Fatui Sergeant: Wh—Who are you! How did you get in here!?

You have obtained the key to Momoyo's cell. Time to rescue her.

(Talk to Momoyo after opening the cell): Momoyo: (TravelerTraveler), Paimon, you're back.; Paimon: Momoyo, are you okay... *gasp* You're hurt all over!; Momoyo: Quit your yelling. It's not that bad... Would you mind supporting me, (TravelerTraveler)?; Paimon: Come on, you can't even walk by yourself. You're not okay at all! Wait a moment. Why aren't you looking at us? What happened to your eyes?; Momoyo: Heh. When I was going for the elemental powder box, some Fatui shot the box and broke it. Some of the stuff got into my eyes.; Paimon: Didn't you say the elemental powder was poisonous?; Momoyo: You're way too noisy. I doubt I'm going to lose both eyes. It's just that this place is too dark for me to see anything. Let's get outside first.

(Outside the domain): Momoyo: Phew. That was one musty cell. Guess I can finally breathe easy.; Paimon: Momoyo! What happened to your eyes!?; Momoyo: Oh, relax. This one's fine now.; But your other eye...; Momoyo: Bah. What's with those sad faces?; Momoyo: Be glad! We fooled them all and even exposed their base, all for the cost of only one eye. This is a worthy trade!; Momoyo: Hehehe, that Teacher was completely taken in by my handiwork. That Fatui girl you're trying to save will never have to live in fear again.; Paimon: So... You mean you didn't flee from the safehouse because you wanted them to believe that Lyudochka was dead?; Momoyo: We had an agreement. Go to Yae Publishing House to tell Lyudochka that she's now safe.

(Approach the back of Yae Publishing House): Paimon: Ms. Lyudochka, we're back! We've done it! You're safe now!; House Interior: ...; Paimon: Ms. Lyudochka?; She's not in.; Paimon: That's weird. Where did she go? Let's ask the Yae Publishing House employees. They might know a thing or two.

Step Description

When you reach Yae Publishing House, you discover that Lyudochka is gone... Ask the employees as to her current whereabouts.

(Talk to Aratani)

Aratani: Is there anything I can help you with?

Paimon: Hey there. We'd like to ask after someone. Do you know where the lady who's been doing proofreading these few days has gone? We're friends of hers.

Aratani: Oh, you must be (Traveler) and Paimon. Ms. Touyama said that you'd come looking for her.

Paimon: (Ms. Touyama?)

(That should be Lyudochka's pseudonym.)

Aratani: She told me yesterday that she won't be able to continue working here due to a family emergency.

Aratani: What a shame! A dexterous and diligent proofreader is hard to find. I was actually going to ask her to go full time with us, in fact.

Aratani: Right. Here's something that she wanted to pass to you before she left.

Paimon: She left us a letter!

(Opens Lyudochka's Letter): Dear (TravelerTraveler) and Paimon,
I'm so sorry about the manner of my parting. Though I did apologize to you, deep down, I know that I'm in no position to do so, nor shall I be so shameless as to appear before you again.
I'm grateful for your offer to save me from my dilemma, but I had wondered about your approach. It wasn't until you took my uniform that I became aware that your plan would put you in harm's way.
Therefore, I left Yae Publishing House in search of you. I found you in Araumi, along with a young lady — Ms. Momoyo — whom I had only seen in Kamera pictures up till then.
I once took advantage of our resemblance to pose as her. She had every reason to hate my guts, but instead, she took such a huge risk to help fake my death, even at the price of one of her eyes.
An unworthy sinner as I am, I've nonetheless received way more kindness from you than I could ever repay.
I have put all my savings since I came to Inazuma in the bag beside this letter. Consider it a gift for you and Ms. Momoyo, as I know no other way to express my gratitude. Rest assured, I earned every coin through honest work.
Farewell, then. I shall leave Inazuma and never return. I owe this land too much.

Paimon: Ms. Lyudochka says... she's leaving. And she's left a sum of Mora for us and Momoyo.

Paimon: Is that really okay, though? Let's... Let's go ask Momoyo.

Go to Grand Narukami Shrine to tell Momoyo about Lyudochka's departure.

(Talk to Momoyo): Momoyo: Huh, you're back. How did it go? I suppose that Fatui girl can be at ease now, hmm?; You tell Momoyo about the letter and Mora Lyudochka left behind.; Momoyo: What? She's leaving?; Paimon: Seems like it...; Momoyo: Pfft. Seriously? "Ms. Momoyo lost an eye on my account"? Nonsense. It's not like she blinded me personally or anything.; Momoyo: The injury was an occupational hazard, you know? If anyone should be compensating me, it should be the Shuumatsuban.; Momoyo: Whatever the case, I don't need her Mora. You can do whatever you want with it.; Paimon: Well, you say that, but honestly, even Paimon isn't sure if we should...; Paimon, struggling about Mora? Say it isn't so!; Paimon: Hey! Paimon isn't that Mora-faced!; Paimon: But where's she going to go after leaving Inazuma? Can she really find a new life and happiness?; Momoyo: Huh, that reminds me. Momoyo: First, we need to wipe out those Fatui who are planning to plant poison on Watatsumi Island. However, their Teacher appears to have left Inazuma. Hmph. If he ever dares to return, I'll make sure he never leaves again.

Momoyo: Someone is helping me pass the intel to the Shuumatsuban. Don't you worry.

Momoyo: Some shortie named Sayu. She told me that she knows you two. She should be passing our news on to the Shuumatsuban right about now.

Lyudochka Snezhevna: I really wished that I could bring them joy!

Lyudochka Snezhevna: *sobs* (Traveler), Paimon... Can my wish really come true?

Lyudochka Snezhevna: Can I really stay? Can I really become that person?

Lyudochka Snezhevna: I will take up this name. I will become the real "Gendou Ringo."

Lyudochka takes a moment to calm down.
Afterward, you return the Mora she sent back to her.

Lyudochka Snezhevna: *sigh* Sorry for the trouble, you two. It must have been hard to convince me to stay.

Paimon: Hehe, all's well that ends well, right? Are you feeling better now?

Lyudochka Snezhevna: I am. I'm sure of what I feel now. I want to stay here in Inazuma, at the Grand Narukami Shrine.

Lyudochka Snezhevna: Since I've taken the Mora back, please, take this Fortune Slip. May my blessing go with you.

Lyudochka Snezhevna: I'll return to the shrine now. Hopefully, I can thank Ms. Momoyo in person. I must also thank Lady Yae for taking me in...
