Sternshield Crab

Sternshield Crabs are Common Enemies that are part of the Fontemer Aberrants enemy group and the Mystical Beasts family.

Two Local Legend Sternshield Crabs, Iron Viscount and Ocean Circuit Judge, can be found in Beryl Region and Elynas, respectively.

Sternshield Crab

An aquatic life form that has embarked on a unique evolutionary track due to Fontaine's environmental factors. When under the effects of Pyro, it can unleash fiercer elemental attacks and possesses even stronger defensive capabilities. If you use Elemental Reactions to remove its Elemental Shield, things should be easier to handle.

A crab that makes its home in borrowed shells.
Armored Crabs are constantly searching for shells that fit their bodies as they grow. A storybook that told the tale of the trials of an Armored Crab searching for a suitable shell was extremely popular in Fontaine for a time. Though the story is filled with childlike wonder, the reaction after proved that, like many fairytales, it touched adults even more deeply.
