So right now I've saved up a total of 17,036 primogems (106 pulls) and 6 intertwined fates (112 total pulls).
The 2nd phase of 5.2 includes Neuvillette which is one of the best characters in the game and I need him.
I currently have 35 pity on the limited banner, so I need 145 more pulls for a guaranteed Neuvillette because I won my last 50/50.
145 pulls = 23,200 primogems
17,036 + 960 (6 fates)= 17,996 primogems
13 days left of welkin = 1,170 primogems
Total = 19,166 primogems
23,200 primogems - 19,166 primogems = 4,034 primogems
Now calculating primogems from the next welkin:
13 days before my welkin ends (Today is 9th of Nov.) + 13 days = Last welkin on 22nd of Nov.
23rd of Nov. = Buy welkin (instant 300 gen crys) + 90 primogems = 390
29 days of welkin = 90 x 29 = 2,610 primogems + 390 from 23rd Nov.= 3,000
Day of Neuvillette's banner = 10th of Dec. (32 days from today)
Which means I will be getting a total of 3,000 primogems on 22nd of Dec.
Last day of Neuvillette's banner is on 31st of Dec. which means I can buy a welkin on 23rd of Dec.
(instant 300 gen crys) + 90 primogems = 390
From 24th all the way to 31st of Dec., the total of primogems I'll be getting is (8 x 90) = 720 primogems
720 primogems + 390 (from 23rd Dec.) = 1,110 primogems
And also daily commissions (60 primogems daily) From 10th Nov. till 31st Dec.
=3,120 primogems
Actual total of the primogems I will be able to get until the last day of Neuvillette's banner: 19,166 primogems (including current welkin)
And then +3,000 primogems for the 2nd welkin
19,166 + 3,000 = 22,166 primogems
22,166 + 1,110 primogems (9 days of welkin + instant 300) = 23,276
23,276 + 3,120 (daily commissions) = 26,396 primogems
Which is 2,404 primogems more than what I needed but I can still spend it on Zhongli's banner aswell.
Now my actual problem is right as of now I have 17,036 primogems and 6 fates. I am currently looking forward on doing a ten pull on Nahida's banner because I don't have her and Xingqiu is also on the banner.
If I wanna do a ten pull, I need 640 primogems + 6 fates for it.
The question is, should I do the ten pull?
Because if I don't get a 5 star it'll just be adding more to my pity.
But If I actually got a 5 star? There are two possibilities as you've already know, a standard character or Nahida. If I get a standard that would be great news because that means I have a 100% chance of getting Neuvillette on his banner. (17,036 primogems - 640 primogems = 16,396 primogems) which is equivalent to 102 pulls.
But if I get Nahida??
It would be both good and bad news because my main goal right now is to get Neuvillette. So for me it's Neuvillette > Nahida. But Nahida is a great character for many teams so it's still pretty hard to decide.
So if I get Nahida:
Current primogems = 16,396
Current pity = 0
Now that I have Nahida, my goal will be the same which is getting Neuvillette.
But I would have to get all my primogems from 16,396 to 28,800. (12,404)
And I'm too lazy for that.
So my question is, should I do a ten pull on Nahida's banner for fun? Or just save up for Neuvillette.
