Song of the South is the soundtrack album to the 1946 Disney film of the same name. The soundtrack was released in 1956, a decade after the original film's release in 1946 under the Disneyland Records label.[1]

- Johnny Lee was erroneously credited as the voice of Br'er Rabbit on the "Everybody Has a Laughing Place" track, and was instead voiced by James Baskett for the said song.
- The "Everybody Has a Laughing Place" track begins with an instrumental score which plays during Johnny's birthday party just before the verse loops into an instrumental version of "Everybody Has a Laughing Place", followed a vocal verse sung by Br'er Rabbit and Br'er Bear respectively.
