However, Two people enter a marriage of convenience as a way to escape societal expectations. It's funny and I enjoy seeing their friendship develop. However, it's not without faults. After finishing this volume, I'm left with more questions than answers. For instance, how did they meet? How did they find out about each other's situation? What pushed them to get married? Also, I still don't have a good idea of what these characters are like outside of their sexualities. Still, I enjoyed it enough to want to keep reading....more

This volume is just as strong as the first. It's a further exploration of the problems disabled people run into as well as the assumptions abled people make about them. Saki and Kanon's friendship genuinely feels like a positive force in both of their lives. On top of that, the way Saki develops feelings for Kanon is natural. My only complaint is that I wish Saki herself is more developed....more

I wish the whole series is like this volume. My problem with the story is how it focuses too much on Shizuma at the expense of Minato. Same complaints as before. At this point, this is as much as a workplace manga as a BL. While I still enjoy this series, I'm frustrated by the monotony of the story. Each volume has the same format: something happens at Shizuma's workplace, Minato gets jealous and insecure, they have sex, and all of their problems are temporarily solved. Rinse and repeat. I hate to say it, but Meguru Hinohara is definitely better at oneshots than longer series....more

First off, the characterization is shallow. We never get a good idea of what these characters are like and their history together is alluded to yet never expanded upon. In addition, there's no story. The supposed conflict gets resolved in a chapter; the rest of the book is pretty aimless. On top of that, the romance is underwhelming. There's not much buildup prior to the confession. There aren't any significant changes to their relationship after they get together either. While they're cute together, I need something more substantial to chew on....more
