"You know?"
"Of the incident, yes. All of Tund does… to our shame."
Vildar Mac and Tarna Miak talk of a rogue sorcerer who committed an atrocity[5]

Tund[6] was a hidden[3] planet[7] located in the mysterious Tund system,[8] within the Centrality sector of the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories, in grid square U-8 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It was the homeworld of the Toong species[4] and became home to Ben Quadinaros,[3] a Toong Podracer pilot that claimed to be from the Tund system.[8]

The Sorcerers of Tund were a group of Force practitioners from Tund.[9]

Behind the scenes[]

Tund was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in the 2015 reference book Ultimate Star Wars.[6] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, it was originally created for Lando Calrissian and the Starcave of ThonBoka, a 1983 novel written by L. Neil Smith.[10]

In early drafts of the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, Tund was the homeworld of the Ciasi podracer Slide Paramita. Although Paramita did not appear in the final version of the film, Tund survived the cut and was reassigned to Ben Quadinaros.[11]
