The flashlight is an object used by Luigi throughout the Luigi's Mansion series, including other appearances based on it. The Flashlight first appears in Luigi's Mansion for the Nintendo GameCube.
Description[]
Luigi uses the flashlight not only to explore dark areas but also to stun ghosts. In Luigi's Mansion, the flashlight is used on its own, followed by being stunned by the Poltergust 3000. In Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, the Flashlight's functionality is incorporated into the Poltergust 5000, and the flashlight has two upgrades, the Strobulb and Dark-Light Device. In Luigi's Mansion 3, the Poltergust G-00 similarly makes use of the equipment like the Poltergust 5000.
