Greenies are enemies that appear in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. They are the most common type of ghost seen in the game and are found in every mansion.

Physical description[]

Greenies are small, green ghosts. They have full green pupils and white irises in their eyes, which were absent during the Dark Moon's absence. They have small arms and hands, with no fingers, and two small tails.

• Punch: Greenies can punch Luigi, dealing 20 damage.

• Paranormal shields: Some Greenies are capable of using paranormal shields of any color.

• Kitchen utensils: Some Greenies in the Gloomy Manor and ScareScraper are seen with rolling pins and pan lids.

In Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon[]

Several Greenies were helping Professor Elvin Gadd with his inventions in the Gloomy Manor's Lab. However, once King Boo destroyed the Dark Moon, the Greenies became hostile and turned against the professor.

Greenies appear in most missions in all of the mansions of Evershade Valley. They'll usually equip themselves with different weaponry and tools to aid them in combat, requiring Luigi to use different elements of strategies before capturing them.

At the end of the game, Luigi defeats King Boo and restores the Dark Moon, returning the Greenies and the rest of the Evershade Valley ghosts back to their peaceful states.

In Luigi's Mansion Arcade[]

Greenies appear as common enemies, found in the Gloomy Manor and Old Clockworks. Some Greenies have 3 HP, whilst others may have 10 or 15 HP. Some Greenies are seen taking objects that Luigi will need to continue his progress.
