Zhongli — Vago Mundo
Liyue's Wangsheng Funeral Parlor is a very old name in the funerary business, and the name of its consultant is Zhongli.
He is erudite and informed of things new and ancient, and knows the history, customs, and ceremonies of Liyue like the back of his hand. Whether lofty as the Rite of Parting or as mundane as botany, entomology, and ornithology, he is conversant in all.
Assiduous in all aspects, Mr. Zhongli leads a very sophisticated life, and never looks at the price before buying. As such, though he never brings money with him when leaving home, fortunately someone is always able to pay for him, to be reimbursed at a later date.
Should you encounter him in a teahouse or other drinking establishment, you might as well chat with him. He will always be willing to share all kinds of useless knowledge with you.

He enjoys a formidable reputation and high level of seniority among the adepti, but is relatively unknown in the mortal realm.
He has been fighting evil spirits born from the remains of defeated gods in the darkness for long ages, and over the years has come to accumulate a heavy burden of "Karma."
Those mortals who happen to see the Vigilant Yaksha in combat seldom realize that this silent "youth" with such an intense gaze has been protecting Liyue from the darkness for millenia.
The long years have dulled both passion and hatred, and other than battle, he has few interests in this world. Only when eating Almond Tofu will he think of the "Sweet Dream" of years past.
