Talk: Furina

Evidences to deduce Furina being the vessel of Focalors[]

Below are analyses based on officially released contents, no leak contained↓↓↓

Like the currently known Archon vessels, Venti, Zhongli, Raiden Shogun, and Nahida:

Furina is from Fontaine, the nation of Hydro element.
Her hair is of gradient white-to-blue color.
Her clothing color and iris color also matches Hydro element.
To one extent, Furina is an alternate name of Furrina, the ancient Roman goddess of springs, whereas Nahida is based on Anahita, the Zoroastrian goddess of "the Waters" (Aban) associated with fertility, healing, and wisdom.
Neuvillette comments Nahida with "...a certain other person, by contrast, should be so prone to hysterics", and Furina displays a large amount of impatience, levity and a childlike temper, matching his characterization.

We all definitely agree that Furina is Focalors, but unfortunately, this list does not have enough substance for the pages to be merged or for the Furina = Focalors statement to be made, unlike the lists for La Signora = Crimson Witch of Flames and mysterious voice in 2.8 GAA = Nahida.

The first three points are definitely not enough on their own (consider Sucrose and Ningguang, who have hair gradients reminiscent of their nations' elements and are, in fact wielders of those elements). Also consider that Nahida's clothing is mostly... white.

The last two points are stronger but still not substantial enough. Using the last two points to say Furina = Focalors would open the doors to unreasonable claims, such as Navia = Focalors (someone suggested that Navia is named after Nabia, a water goddess whose name can also be spelled Navia; also consider that Navia scaled a building with her bare hands and was carried away by the wind and her open umbrella. That's technically not out of scope of Neuvillette's comment...).

Even when all of the points are combined together, they amount to just... vibes. Vibes that we all agree with, but only vibes.

The wiki has been mildly traumatized from a previous incident in which information on the wiki was directly used as a source piped to what should've been official sources, so no conclusions are jumped to, especially if we're sure that we'll get an answer reasonably soon. We can wait 6 weeks for confirmation. Focalors shouldn't be in hiding. I'm sure we'll see her soon enough.

6. Both Focalors and Furina are female and address themselves as boku (僕) in Japanese.

All six points must be combined.
Sucrose and Ningguang are of the opposite gender to their Archons.

What is with this incredibly embarrassing footnote? This is a wiki page, not a reddit debate thread. If you really want to split hairs over this sort of thing, make a post on /r/Genshin_Impact like everyone else, but otherwise this is just an incredible waste of space by an editor using the wiki to present their opinions as fact over something that is still hotly debated in the community and that the game itself was incredibly, purposefully vague about.
